Grabbing Valerie’s neck, I slammed her to the wall, her horrified shriek echoed in the room.
“What are you doing, Xavion? Leave me ...”
But I couldn’t hear anything after her shameless confession, elongating my claws.
“You hired rouges to harm Azlynn despite the fact she is a fragile omega. How can you even think about it?”
Valerie was a greedy woman, I knew it, but it never crossed my mind that she had criminal tendencies. Her audacity to hurt Azlynn trembled my hands with repressed fury. I punched the wall right beside her face and growled.
