“Where?”
My sudden squeal alerted my brother, he jumped up and sprinted towards the direction I pointed out. Clutching Hayley to my chest, I took out pepper spray from my purse, ready to face any danger.
The scent of a mated wolf was the only clue about the intruder, as all the servers in the restaurant were unmated, revealing the identity of dangerous man. Luckily, it didn’t take long for my brother to finally come back with the culprit.
“Here’s the spy!”
Grabbing a squirming man’s collar, Howard growled, demanding an explanation.
“You aren’t in the list of the restaurant’s staff. Who sent you?
