Bella’s spiteful snarl flamed my cheeks with anger, stiffening my muscles. My shoulders took on a predatory bow as I closed the door carefully. The scent, the low growls, and the sense of great bitterness churning my stomach with disgust screamed the name of the intruder.
My heart jumped to my throat as the thought of defenseless members of my family crushed my soul. I gasped,
