Samantha's Pov
i regretted looking back because the next second we were surrounded,
somepeople never learn where they belong, Sophia said with disgusting look, while the her friends behind her laugh at everything she said,
What do you want from us Debbie asked,
ohhh dear so you so neive to think that you are welcome here, one of the the girls reply,
i notices the student that are slowing down to watch, Debbie stay slightly in front of me, and Sophia let out a fake smile,
I quietly bring out my stress ball as I focused on the rhythm of squeezing the ball instead of the girls surrounding us.
The class princess and her followers mark their territory, I have always ignore them because what will I say to a rich brat that thinks the world revolves around her.
I touched Debbie let's go then I start going but was stopped by a hand that grabbing my wrist, and then a sharp pull, then…
Debbie's scream echoed around me as my shoulder hit the concrete floor. My books scattered across the walkway, but the pain wasn't what frightened me.
I reached for my chest.
Air.
I needed air. A sharp tightness spread across my chest, squeezing harder with every second as if invisible hands had wrapped themselves around my lungs. My breathing became quick and shallow.
Not here. Please... not here.
The voices around me faded into one loud noise.
"Get up," someone laughed.
"I think she's pretending."
I tried to push myself up, but my hands were shaking too badly. Every breath came with a soft wheeze that only grew louder.
Debbie dropped to her knees beside me.
"Samantha!" She grabbed my shoulders.
"Look at me."
I wanted to answer. I couldn't. My vision blurred. My fingers searched desperately through my bag.
"No..." Where was it? No... No…
Debbie followed my trembling hand and immediately understood. "Her inhaler!"
Nobody moved. "What are you people standing there for?" she shouted.
"Help me!" A small crowd quickly gathered. One student finally picked up Samantha's bag while another searched inside.
"I can't find it!" Debbie's face turned pale.
"Samantha... stay with me."
I could hear her voice, but it sounded far away. Every breath became harder than the last. The edges of my vision turned dark. The last thing I heard was Debbie crying before darkness look over.
