Torn Angel

Chapter 3

“I’m sorry.” I spoke as I wrapped my arms around his. He chuckled as he kissed the top of my head.

“Parker is my Lycons name.” He spoke gently. I looked up at him and smiled. “I was going to tell you.”

“Its okay. Hearing it from you is better.” I told him as I turned around and planted a kiss on his lips. “Parker.”

“Baby,” He growled happily. I just dropped my cheek to his chest as I wrapped my arms around his back. I felt him chuckle before he spoke. “He wants you to say his name once more. He thinks he deserves it because he was so good.”

“Parker.” I spoke it loud and gentle causing Andrew to shutter. I smiled as I buried my face in his chest. “Parker, Andrew, never leave me.”

“Don’t worry princess, we will never leave your side.” Andrew spoke rubbing my back.

“I’m sorry you got such a pathetic mate.” I whispered this.

“Avery.” He growled harshly causing me to look at him. “Don’t ever say that.”

“But it’s true.” I cried into his chest causing him to lift me up. We left the roof and walked to my bedroom where he laid me on my bed. I allowed him to lay me down.

“Baby who put you in the hospital for weeks.” Andrew asked as calm as he could. I looked at him trying to lean up but he wouldn’t let me. Tears began to flow once more. I turned over and planted my face in the pillow. “Baby, you have been the best mate this world could have ever given me. So you are a little special then others but I would never change that in the world.”

“Andrew.” I spoke as I went to lift my head up to him but the spots started as I was dragged into darkness. I was on the floor in the dark. No, no not this again. I tried to rise but I couldn’t. I was stuck once again. With magic I put up a shield as I began looking around. I had to get out of here.

“Avery.” A voice called before I saw the hand coming to me. I froze in panic as I stared at the hand. It slowly reaching for me. The voice I just heard came into view as its teeth chomped down hard on its wrist causing it to pull away and scream.

“Parker.” I cried managing to rise and race after the lycon that had been thrown from me. I buried my face into his side as he slowly tried to get up. He was exhausted.

“Stupid mutt. You will die for that.” The voice spoke causing Parker to cry in pain. I instantly through up a shield around us but that even proved difficult. My own pain spiking. He tried to reach me but Parker rose quickly and got me a small distance away.

“Parker.” I cried when he yelped and was thrown a distance away. My scream caused a light to form.

“Avery.” Thomas called. I couldn’t move as I fell to my knees. Parker whined as he tried to rise and race to me.

“She is mine.” The voice called as I saw his hands. Right there. I watched it as his hand attack my chest. The light dimming as his hand disappeared into my chest but soon burned. He retracted from me causing a scream of pain to escape me as I fell forward. Parkers head was there to catch me. He dare not move as I laid over his neck. Thomas was there to help me lay down.

“Avery you need to wake up.” Thomas spoke as he tried to comfort me. “Please Avery says something to us. You cant fall asleep like this.”

“Woof" Parker spoke gently nudging my cheek. What was I to do. I couldn’t form words or movement. I couldn’t do anything.

“Avery fight this. You have the magic to. Come one sweetheart. You need to breath.” Thomas spoke before he smacked me hard. A bright light shot out of me changing that dark haven into that of a beautiful flower field. His screams being heard.

“Thomas.” I came out very wobbly but it must have come out as he smiled at me. Parker gently poked me with his nose as he whimpered.

“She’s okay.” Thomas spoke to him as my eyes closed. I was exhausted, I didn’t even come to my body right away. It had to be a couple hours or so later because I was laying in my bed. There was someone close by.

I slowly began to move closer to where Andrew was suppose to be laying. When I reached for him it was empty. A gentle hand fell on mine pressing it to the bed. I felt the warmth like someone was there but just left. I smiled happily as I retracted my hand and curled up on my own. It didn’t take long before I felt the bed dip. I reached out right away.

“Easy Avery.” He gently warned causing me to stop. He moved a bit before he pulled me close. I slowly snuggled into him causing him to laugh. “It’s okay now baby.”

That was it I just collided into his arms. I held him just as tight as he held me. He knew I was scared and I was. I couldn’t open my eyes as I was still very sleepy.

“Thomas was here with you. I know you said you feel safe with both of us.” Andrew gently spoke. “I promise though he is gone for now. Your magic has driven him back for a bit but we go back to strict training and such. Thomas knows your getting strong but fears so has he.”

“Parker,” I managed to say. A gentle growl escaped him causing me to shutter.

“He is fine. Little beat up but fine.” Andrew spoke with a little bit of a struggle. I nodded gently as we laid there. I think I fell asleep once more. It was peaceful, and the dream was sweet. Both Andrew and Parker where there as they both showered me with love and snuggles. I was happy for once.

“Andrew,” I called as I came to and the bed was cold. I opened my eyes to see a beautiful women sitting by the bed. She looked over at me and smiled.

“Hi sweetheart.” She spoke gently as she sat on the bed and caressed my cheek. “How are you feeling?”

“I’m okay.” I spoke a little confused.

“I don’t have long sweetheart but I wanted to see you. I wanted to see how you have grown. Oh my dear how I wish I was there with your father to love you like all children should be loved.” She cried as she leaned in and kissed my forehead.

“Mommy,” I cried getting up and wrapping my arms around her. She hugged me back just as hard.

“I’m here baby I’m here.” She cried holding me tight. She placed me back on the bed with a frown. “You are stronger then anything in the world. You can beat him. He has nothing on you my dear. Trust Thomas he will get you ready. Always remember this my baby girl. You are my light.”

“I really miss you mom.” I spoke gently as I held her hand in mine for a bit. She lifted the other to my chest where the rose sat.

“I am always with you.” She smiled. The image went black as I felt something shaking and whimpering beside me. I opened my eyes to see Andrew having a night mate or something. I poked him gently to no avail. I tried to shake him but that didn’t work. With a sigh I got up to go to the bath room for a little bit of water to splash on him but got tangled in the sheets. I fell face first on the ground letting out a squeak. He shot up instantly. He had me in his lap and arms around me before I even knew it.

“It was just a dream. I’m here.” I spoke gently rubbing light finger tip touches on his chest. I could feel his lycon prr at my touch. He just nodded his head but he didn’t say anything.

“I lost you.” He whispered ever so gently. “I lost you and there isn’t anything I could do to get you back.”

“I’m right here Andrew. I’m right here in your lap.” I told him gently as I placed a hand on his cheek. He reached up and grabbed it. He pulled it away to kiss my palm and then place it back on his cheek where he held it.

“I know baby but you weren’t in my dream. I’m sorry I scared you.” He said looking down at me.

“We will get through this together okay.” I spoke sweetly to him causing him to plant a kiss on my lips. It was aggressive bit passionate. I felt something touch my bottom lip causing me to open my mouth with surprise. Oh I was so glad I did. It just deepened the kiss as I fought his tongue in my mouth till he beat me.

“Avery are……oh shit.” Reco spoke as he came in and v lined it back out. Andrew and I broke away as we heard him.

“You look so cute when you blush" Andrew smiled when he gave me a gently peck before getting up. I was so embarrassed as I quickly got up and dressed. This was going to be an interesting day.
