There was such weariness in the eyes of Adam as he stood at the edge of the waters and watched me play around inside the river. Yes. I had taken him up on his offer, and had decided to pay a visit to the beautiful stream which was damn cold but cool to swim in. I watched him rake his hands across his hair and sighed. And I wondered what could be the problem. Did he remember something bad? “Are you okay?” “Yeah. It’s nothing.” He fixed a fake smile on his face. But his eyes remained the same. Sad. Tired.
