He did it. He went against his word to me, against the rules I had set just for him—the pack seer. He had gone into an abandoned building, thinking the Moon Goddess wouldn't send me his way.
I found him just in time to stop the madness he was about to cause in the Howling pack. When Beta Derek returned to me earlier, he informed me of the seer's meeting with a masked man. They both had their faces hidden.
I couldn't let him tell anyone what I had just told him, so I did the next possible thing and killed him instantly.
Now, standing right before my window inside my room, with my hands folded behind me and my thoughts filled with the aim of finding the masked man who had ordered the meeting with the seer, I couldn't help but feel a heavy thrill of anticipation.
