The First Attack

Hmm, if the second scroll had revealed the establishment of Titania, what’s inside the third scroll, then? The title was written as,”Our Primal Adversaries.” From my base conjecture, this would be a coercive action with the predecessor of non-humans with our kin. It’s unavoidable, anyway, since we were an alien to their sight. I wonder how the past had their skirmish with them all, due to Markoff Rigor’s legacy and his insight of the world. --- This is year 2373. The former non-aggressive tribes and races were suddenly besieged our stronghold in tremendous force. This is very troublesome and dangerous, not to us, but to them, since they don’t have proper equipment to withstand our defense mechanism. Oh, for the introduction, I am the caretaker of our central library this year. Mr. LORD  has demanded a regular update of the life in space of 300 years each, and this sacred duty was mandated to the librarian in-tenure. The next scrolls would be written at 2600 to conclude the date as even, since the odd years would be troublesome and pictured a bunch of discrepancies in the future. Back to the assault, they were formed an alliance outside our bastion. The huge army were comprised of three main regiments. The vanguard of their army is the tribesman of Elephants. From my own perspective,  they would be the main infantry and cavalry due to their body posture and tenacity. Their might as the forefront of the ranks is underpinned by the longbowman of sheep and goats. With their keen sight and long-distance vision, they were the prime candidate for ranged snipers and sharpshooters of the group. On the rear of their army is the place for artillery combatants. It comprised of numerous varieties of bears, as their powerful might would be prominent to launch the siege catapult accordingly. As the counter-defensive insurgence effort by our automated system, our king-governor have deployed thousands of humanoid robots. They were weaponized with tranquilizer darts and taser gun, principally for riots and social unrest. However, due to our community obedience and harmony, this sort of equipment were never required to settle the tumultuous situation within our city. The clash of armies is inevitable. The cavalry of elephants were able to extinguish plenty of our defenders. On the other hand, the tranquilizer darts are too strong for several of their melee, as the unconscious Mammals dropped and stacked up to be some non-conformed lump in linear shape. This was proven to be sufficient to the strategy, as their archers missed most of their shots by the heap of obstruction. By the commands of their captain, the contingent of bears mauled their claws to the launcher. In my own prediction, They were prompted to annihilate the melee android by their mass shower of rocks and boulders. Alas, their effort seemed meaningless since the remaining android were dispersed to prevent the mass destruction of their ranks beforehand. As a counter-measure, the tranquilizer darts was quite effective to sedate the majority of their ranged marksman, followed up with the neutralizing maneuver to the catapult operator by the bots’ blistering speed. I could estimate that there were 20.000 troops of combined armies leaning motionless by the high dosage of drugs after those unfortunate battle. In due course, the androids are quickly confiscated and destroyed the rest of their arms, made them powerless to continue the assault thereupon. Have a nice sleep, brother and sisters. We wish to live in peace for now, analyzing your growth from outside until the day of your comparable ability to oppose the might of our armies. --- This man is boastful. The dire situation that we have nowadays were occurred by this sort of people, I think. Under the indulgence of our inevitable stretch of technology, our people grown weak and feeble to sustain the abnormal speed of non-human civilization. Our innovation in technology seemed to be stagnant, even under the new generation like us. Hmm, It would be necessary for me to ask this with Ellen. So much of question were raised by those three sacred writings of Titania. I am in wonder of our population, too. Does the first settler’s localization of virus made us all infected by it? She must be resourceful with this confidential, off-the-record type of information. I’m incited by this newfound, salient issues of this tale. How come our race, the dominant and the leader in terms of technology and knowledge, would be pressured by the other species' simplicity? “Yo, Ellen. Have some time for me?” As usual, she is maintained her shape in meticulous manner. I can’t believe that her, as an old lady, sitting up in strength down there. My mom would crack her spine if she’s on this type of drill like what she does at this time. “One thousand twenty two, One... Oh, Hello Regi. Anything on your mind?” “It’s about Markoff Rigor. Is this real? I can’t tell of the connection of this story with our own world.” “Yes, of course. This historical event was actually took place hundred years ago, and this is the former island that they mentioned within the story. We, Repugnare, were designated to fulfill the last request of Markoff Rigor in the final phase of the conquest. Anyway, for your query of the ‘enhanced,’ the descendant of the first affected was not as fortunate with their predecessor. Some of them were not having this ‘extra’ power like we have had for the time being.” “So, what’s the final plan, then? Could you brief me about it?” “The conquest of the world, remember? It was Markoff Rigor’s will and demand before passed away in peace.” Hmm, as I thought. The sole element of our establishment were designated for this reason, huh. “Hoo, alright. So we are the realization of his dream... and we have to turn in bloodshed for this cause. What about the tranquilizer darts?” “He is honorable and just. In a stretch of our powers, he didn’t like to see us possessed an unmatched knowledge and wisdom to face enemies far below ourselves.” Chivalry is not dead for this man, cheers for that. It’s vile and malicious at the same time, anyhow. “And due to his faith to equity, he tend to forgot that our need of sustainability were laid persist.” “We lost some of our precious commodities, Regi. The former resources of Enda, knowledge of Timia, and wisdom of Justicia. We were meant to return all of those in time.” “Hmm, this study made me realize that my beginner mission were better than everything else that occurs afterwards.” “Nothing is outlying the others, Regi. Keep the full spirit and confidence to all of the objectives. Do not be complacent and forgotten of our goals, okay?” --- Of today’s information, I could concur that we are their last hope. Post-Markoff Rigor’s era was filled with bountiful scenario and life-choices to pick. Out of his chivalrous perspective, he is ruthless and prideful of his subordinates. Yet, his ideas of conquering the world also has a portion of malevolent strategy and domineering principles. He is kind and faithful enough to let the newborn species living in tranquility, but his standard to forfeit his future-enemies to develop and bulking up their power has a petty smug concealed within. To be a key factor of the successful mission of an overlord, this is our reason to live for. Ellen never told me of this immense burden, and I have no alternative thoughts to this, as I am in compliance with her spectrum of “saving and defending humanity” as her way of dealing with this forsaken truth. Is this the proper answer for my question? the fact that us, the minor-combatants with an escalated degree of prowess, are the vile ammunition for the eternal will of the dead? Is the dream that we obtained for living, the desire to avenge the beaten path of humanity, is nothing but a mirage?
