No alarm and my daily habits, point of remarks from the two days of our life abroad. Yesterday was terrific for us, indeed. We can garner so much intelligence over the life of non-human settlements. A lemur-like creature had informed us of the recent political hubbub over the country. Based on his incidental eavesdropping to the guardsman’s chit-chat, There were rumors of attempted coup towards the current ruler of the kingdom. It’s the best time for us to survey it by ourselves, then. (ring-ring) Woah, this is the mail from my work place. Do I forgot to slip those letter? I guess not. It must be regarded to another issue somehow. It’s Lauren, apparently, I wonder what’s in her mind to send letter like this so soon. ‘To: Mr. Reginald Lambardi Hello, Mr. Regi. This is me, Lauren .... and Rufus, he entrusted me to send the greetings from him. Ehm, to make it simple, we wanted to ask for your honest answer..... How long for you to come home? I know you are on a business trip. However, we need the direct reply from yourself, Mr. Regi. On the other way, the store is looking great as ever. The entree took out things as usual, not for free, of course. The automated machine with its way to refill the galleries, the early morning assignment of a manager, It’s all amazing experience to me. However, I missed the ordinary days of me arriving late to the office, scolded by my boss, staring deep into my screen... it’s mesmerizing, boss, more than having myself be the interim for awhile. Sincerely, Lauren and Rufus’ My nuclear family, the minamart branch, the memories.... Don’t be too melancholic, Regi. I might abandoned my duty as a manager at this moment, but it is merely 2 days on the road. Set that whimpering emotion aside for later. Alright, for the surveillance mission of today, I have to identify my own developed powers to select my role upon this objective. If I got an awesome ability, I might do this espionage mission all by myself! Don’t be reckless, Regi. I don’t know who is the person that I have to engage with later on. For the venue of training, the plain grass close-by this inn would be well-fitted terrain for my trial. The plain pasture is vacant, isolated from the village. Nobody would felt disgruntled of the imminent eruption, decadent explosion, decaying substance, or every sort of combat skills that spurted out my limbs. It’s a mere speculation, though, since I don’t have any ideas for my powers of the day in general. “Greeting sequence, start!!” For this step, I have to check over the senses on the entire organs of my face. Since I’ve been dealing with so much reactive pressure from my nose not so long time ago, I have to set this one under full caution. I tried to manipulate my eyesight. Nothing happened in particular. My olfactory organ posed no enhanced sensitive smelling of the surroundings. “MOUTH!!” Whoa, take a look on that tree!!! Please forgive me, my fellow living creature. “Ranged attack confirmed.” For the headline, I can bring forth a destructive scream to any direction. I wonder if it affecting Simon, too. If it does, I could only pity on his fate. To guarantee on my familiarity to this power, I have to settle with it awhile longer. I hope nobody recognize this as me, or we’ll be in a deep trouble afterwards. --- The regular exercise of Reginald ended on a bleak soil of the hill. Remnant of crushed trees scattered down the field, displayed a tragic destiny of their unwavering course of life as the genesis of nature life. Numerous ripples of afflicted patch of grass were distributed in total disorder, showed staggering capacity of Reginald’s horrific wind from his mouth. “Excellent!! I have to inform Simon of this. I need to refrain on blurting some words, though, or it would be problematic to our ears later on.” He strolled back to their hotel room in a rush. By the time of his arrival on their chamber, Simon has himself wide awake, smiled to Reginald alongside the motion of his entrance. “A jog, Regi?” “Yeah, I need to be fit for today.” “Are you the one being noisy outside? It’s so strange for me to heard that so untimely. I can’t see who’s at fault of those annoying scream, though. Is that you?” “Ermmmm.... Hehehe.” “.... Damn, Mate. I’m stoned by it, you know? My head still gotten dizzy by the rang. I don’t know what the townspeople would...” (Knock knock) A gentle, but loud thump could be heard from the door. “There’s your call.... Come on, you’re accountable to the problem. Make an excuse for this, alright?” “Oh, crap... Hmmm, Improvise, Regi... you can do it....” In the account of the constant input over their wooden door, Reginald finds two guardsmen stood in salutation to him. They appeared similar to a dog from the past, but with two-legs to prop them up as their way to stand. “Good morning, gentlemen. We are the security member of the hotel. Do you have heard of the blaring noise lately? Hmm, it was an hour ago, to be exact.” Reginald, in advance to his motion for bluff, averted his attention to the one of the guardsman that could be deemed as the captain of the two. “Hmmm, we were just being awakened by those commotion. Is it from you both?” The dog guardsmen of the back seemed angry by Reginald’s respond to their query. before being  calmed down by the dog guardsman on the front with its paw. “I’m apologize for intruding your privacy, kind gentlemen. We were under investigation to find the cause of the clamored yell out there. Is it you, sir? I could distinguish the similarity of your voice to the offenders outside.” Reginald is going wild by the imminent recognition from the dog guardsmen. He doesn’t furious, but rather concerned by their bold deduction from his voice and the connecting dot of the other event. His hands is soaked in sweat, parallel to his whole nervous figure in general. “How dare you, knocking your accusation towards the guest? We are on transit, and this is our private session before departing to the other city.” The both of dog guardsmen even more perplexed by his vague answer. They were left speechless for a moment, exhibited by their stiffing-up tail on the back. “May I know your end point, sir? as my knowledge might possess, the closest country is the Fishman kingdom, which is more than a five hundred kilometers away to the east.” “Hmm, I suppose it is, Mr. Guard.” The two dog guardsmen tilted their heads. It seems they were eager to investigate, but reluctant to do so. “Thank you for the cooperation, kind gentlemen. Have a nice day.” The two guardsmen stood in salutation once more before departed to the next room on the right of them to proceed their self-investigation of the horror. Reginald then closed the door by the time they hailed their neighbored guest of the corridor, cleansed off his worry in a flash. “Did we really patch our direction to the Fishman kingdom? They are not friendly to humans, you know.” “It’s a sham, Simon. I don’t wanna create suspicion of them right away.” “Good grief. I can’t take a venture too far to the east. Goons and critters are controlling the way to that place, you know.” “Huh? You, of all people, being afraid of simple thugs?” “Stamina is important, mate. I can’t slashy-gritty with no power on my hand... Anyway, lock the door, we need to discuss our plan for today.” --- Hmmm, based upon our smooth investigation in the marketplace, there are an ample rumors and circumstances that enveloped this kingdom. We have ourselves enlightened to know that there’s some issues under the veil of their royal and high-class authorities. Their economy and fiscal matters could be deemed as fine, but we didn’t venture towards this matter so much. Over their demand of primary needs, for example. They went crazy when we crashed out the prices of our goods. At certain points, a few of them appeared delighted by our ‘charity program,’ quoted from our customers of yesterday’s event. “For our objective of today.... what are we gonna look into, mate?”  “Hmm... I have to admit, Simon, this is my qualms too. This mission has no limits, without goals, boundaries.... As for me, It would be espionage and investigation of their own issues. Tell me how’s that for you, Mr. Mentor.” “Since we've had retrieved so much valuable intel, I think we can start from there and leap forward to the next available one in the meantime.” “What about Mr. LORD’s database? Did we have some general information over their politics? Merry couldn’t tinker those translation kit without the language deposit, is it not?” Yes, her vast array of knowledge was the point of our escalation. Without the assistance of it, we couldn’t gouge out information from our customers in the earlier days with such leeway. “Well, she could be gotten the data out of the past collection. Remember, We were subjected to update those info, mate.”  “You’re right.... it’s time for diving to Mr. LORD’s documents then, for the start.” --- The two hours of their time was spent to search and read the vast database of Mr. LORD. They dug up the possible connections of the latest event with every information they could downpour off the grid. They had themselves in trade of  several dot of data with each-other, discussing matters that they could overview from the comparison of what they had achieved to get. “Yup, just like what you have said, we are in shortage of their current politics. Let’s head on to the street, mate!!”  “So be it, Simon. This is our new objective for this time.” Simon nodded to Reginald’s suggestion cheerfully. “Anyway, we don’t understand their language at the most. How are we intended to pull the stunt, then?” “Your woman is in our debt for this. She developed yet another set of gear to use.” Reginald showed the respective item to Simon. It is a small blue spherical object with unknown utilities. From what’s appeared on it, the base structure of the object is compact and firm enough to handle heavy damage on their surface. “She bragged this item in her manuals numerous times. This is the small receptor for our ears, to make the alien language of this land simple and easy to decipher.” “I assume this object is connected to the carriage, ‘cause of the manual instructions. How could that simpletons translating their speech to us, though?” “No idea, Simon. You can tell her of your concern by the day we return.” “Haha, well-suited topic to her brain, huh? I’ll save it for a tease.” Reginald peeked inside his bag once more to ensure nothing left to bargain for their objectives. “Hmm, I have nothing else to show. Any questions, Simon?” “Of course.Where’s in your wish-list to visit?” Reginald fell in silence to ponder of the best choice in motion. He laid a dead stare to Simon’s red-pupil in his conveyance for an emphasis of which course would be the finest location to wander about. “...For the main dish, I’ll seek the majority of our information gap from their library. What about you, Simon?” “If it’s your plan, I’ll go with the interview. I’ll smash the marketplace and the city square, it’s pretty rowdy for me.” “Roger that, Simon. Contact me through the bracelet if you wish to swap over.” “No way, haha. The reading part is your taste. I’m not gonna favor myself to indulge with the worm.” “Okay. To wrap up our findings, we’ll come back to our room at sunset. Agreed?” “Humbly affirmed. Come on, I’m raring to go.”
