======= Today ======= ratrace (Argum): well folks the day of unsummoning has now come and gone and it looks like ratrace (Argum): we f****d up TheOriginalHorseGirl (Argum): We??? ratrace (Argum): you're right just most of us ratrace (Argum): granted it was a long shot ratrace (Argum): that everything would be wrapped up nice and neat just like that ratrace (Argum): but only four people coming to the ritual site is pathetic OphiuchusTheSnake (Argum): We already knew it wasn't going to work, so why risk getting caught sneaking out? shep (Argum): same tbh ratrace (Argum): oph you literally can turn invisible so i don't wanna hear it from you ratrace (Argum): more importantly what do we do now TheOriginalHorseGirl (Argum): That's obvious, isn't it? Blackfire's the one holding us back, so if we just drag him to the ritual site by force... ratrace (Argum): yeah except he's not the only one holding us back ratrace (Argum): is he ratrace (Argum): speak up people come on i promise horse won't beat you up MoNkEyInArOuNd (Argum): Yeah I kind of want to stay OLLYOLLYOXENFREE (Argum): THIS WORLD IS LITERALLY A FANTASY LAND. WHY WOULD I WANT TO GO BACK TO EARTH? TheOriginalHorseGirl (Argum): I don't know, friends, family?? Hello?? OLLYOLLYOXENFREE (Argum): I WOULD TRADE THEM AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT FOR MY NEWFOUND GLORIOUS MUSCLES ratrace (Argum): you don't have muscles olly ratrace (Argum): you just have a 999 strength stat OLLYOLLYOXENFREE (Argum): FUNCTIONALLY THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE ALTHOUGH I WILL CONCEDE THE AESTHETICS ARE LACKING rooster-guy (Argum): the cheats are pretty sweet though. shep (Argum): speak for yourself. all i got was the power to "dreamwalk." rooster-guy (Argum): some people would kill to have the power to fall asleep on command, you know. ratrace (Argum): we're getting off track here ratrace (Argum): we need to come up with a solution, and fast MoNkEyInArOuNd (Argum): What's the rush? ratrace (Argum): you all heard modus ratrace (Argum): sooner or later the offices are going to step in here ratrace (Argum): and the way he was talking about them, i don't think anyone wants to meet this “reclaimer” TheOriginalHorseGirl (Argum): What CAN we do? If we all aren't on board with going home... OLLYOLLYOXENFREE (Argum): NOT TO MENTION WE HAVE A DESERTER. shep (Argum): and it's only a matter of time before our respective handlers start putting us on the battlefield ratrace (Argum): yeah i know it's looking pretty grim right now ratrace (Argum): so for the first order of business may i suggest we all desert ratrace (Argum): just get far away from the people that want us to conquer nations and shit ratrace (Argum): is that fair? OphiuchusTheSnake (Argum): We would be fugitives in every country. Nowhere would be safe for us. rooster-guy (Argum): and people are bound to notice a group of 10+ people, no matter how carefully we try to cover our tracks. OLLYOLLYOXENFREE (Argum): NO MATTER. WE ARE HEROES! THEY MAY TRY TO SET THEIR ARMIES ON US, BUT WE WILL PREVAIL! ratrace (Argum): i like the enthusiasm but they're right ratrace (Argum): i guess we need to be careful how we go about this ratrace (Argum): and of course the problem of blackfire remains TheOriginalHorseGirl (Argum): We can just deal with him later, after we get everything else sorted out. ratrace (Argum): the problem isn't dealing with him, it's what we do if he decides to deal with us ratrace (Argum): we can't contact him, so he's probably still all-in for this summon war ratrace (Argum): if his country catches on to our desertion... ratrace (Argum): well, the best way to capture a hero would be with another hero, right? OphiuchusTheSnake (Argum): I would like to submit a proposal. ratrace (Argum): thank f**k someone else has a plan OphiuchusTheSnake (Argum): The Offices intend to meddle on the grounds that our summoning was not intended to deal with a sanctioned threat. OphiuchusTheSnake (Argum): However, if such a threat were to appear on this plane, then at the very least it would buy us time to work out a more permanent solution. ratrace (Argum): you saying we need a demon lord? OphiuchusTheSnake (Argum): I am saying we need a demon lord. OLLYOLLYOXENFREE (Argum): WHERE DOES ONE GET A DEMON LORD? shep (Argum): idk walmart? OphiuchusTheSnake (Argum): That's where I'm drawing a blank. Does anyone have any ideas? MoNkEyInArOuNd (Argum): What if... WE were the demon lord? TheOriginalHorseGirl (Argum): I'm not sure I'm comfortable with this. ratrace (Argum): no i like where this is going MoNkEyInArOuNd (Argum): We've got our cheats, don't we? If we just get creative, I bet we can put on a convincing enough show, at least for a little while. MoNkEyInArOuNd (Argum): We'd need some things though. MoNkEyInArOuNd (Argum): I can shapeshift into a real nasty looking demon, but I'll need an army of mooks... ratrace (Argum): we can work something out shep (Argum): how about some spooky omen dreams for all the nations' leaders? OphiuchusTheSnake (Argum): An invisible spy, gathering intel from right under their noses? ratrace (Argum): oh man this could actually work =============== Several people are typing...
