ModusOperandi (Dreamland): That's more or less correct. The Hero System itself is something like the operating system, while the Hero Chat is a program. Or more like a mod, really.

ModusOperandi (Dreamland): Theoretically yes, but it's a lot of work to put together even a simple mod. It took me years to get the chat running the way it is now.

EvolverOcelot (Coris): Anyone else getting a bug where the status screen won't go away?
ModusOperandi (Dreamland): That's a new one to me. Any other details?
EvolverOcelot (Coris): Actually it seems like my interface just isn't responding to swipes.
ModusOperandi (Dreamland): And the status screen doesn't have an x button so you can only get rid of it by swiping.
Whatsamana (Earth Q): who designs this stuff?
EvolverOcelot (Coris): Any solutions? I'm half blind with all my stats taking up my vision.
Whatsamana (Earth Q): have you tried turning it off and on again

EvolverOcelot (Coris): Not really. Last time I opened the stat screen was like a week ago.
ModusOperandi (Dreamland): No new mods, anything like that?
EvolverOcelot (Coris): I'm running vanilla other than Hero Chat.
ModusOperandi (Dreamland): I'm not sure what to tell you then.
EvolverOcelot (Coris): Come on Modus, this is super annoying.

EvolverOcelot (Coris): Couldn't tell you, but I'm not complaining. Have you ever had tentacles before? It's incredible.

EvolverOcelot (Coris): I am hurt that you would imply I might be anything other than a perfect gentleman, who is also a hideous abomination and a sin against the natural order.
ModusOperandi (Dreamland): Okay I've got good news.
ModusOperandi (Dreamland): I ran a quick test and it seems the problem is that the Hero System can't recognize command gestures performed by non-human... appendages.
EvolverOcelot (Coris): Well that's gonna be a problem because I'm not giving up the tippy tappers.
Whatsamana (Earth Q): gotta admire that kind of dedication
ModusOperandi (Dreamland): I'll see if I can't put something together for you. It shouldn't take more than a few days to make a patch for this issue.
EvolverOcelot (Coris): Modus you're a lifesaver.
