Chapter 7

Kevin pov

It's early December, two months after I met Sophia, and I've never been better. So far, nothing erotic has happened. I don't want to force her. We hang out together. We've been together several times, but so far, nothing else has happened. We both want it, I've figured it out, but Sophia is holding it. She has told me that she doesn't want to drag me into her drama. As much as I explain to her that I want to be with her, she keeps me away. So far, only friends. And also she works for me. I will live with that for now. Today Saturday we all decided to go to my cottage for two days. I will be there for a while with Sophia. Others will be busy with each other. Tyler and I came to pick up Sophia and Steffie, and the other four will come in their car.

"Hey, Kev. How are things with Sophia?" Tyler asks me as we wait for the girls to come down from their apartment. I turn and look at him and lean on the car.

"Fantastic. You can't understand how well we fit in. We like the same things. And the most important thing is that she doesn't even try to impress me. I've already loved her for who she is."

"Loved her?" he asks in astonishment

"Yes. I've already adored her. That's probably why I'm so patient. It's worth the wait until she's mine."

"I'm glad to hear you talk like that. She's a perfect girl. She's just very hurt." he sighs

"Can I tell you something? But don't let anyone know what I told you," he says, and I nod

"Okay," she tells me slowly. We didn't talk much on the road. The guys behind were in their world. At one point, Sophia's phone rang, and she answered and spoke Greek. From what I understood from some words I have learned, she was talking to a lawyer. I hope it has good news for Sophia and me. As soon as it closed, she spoke to Steffie again in Greek.

"Everything all right?" I ask. I can't stand being very angry with her

"Yes. The lawyer from Greece. He informed me that everything was going well. My ex accepted the compromise, and the proceedings proceeded."

"Is that good? Right?"

"Yes. It will be over soon." Yes finally

"Are you all right? You were a bit abrupt before," she says

"I want to talk. It's a serious matter. Once we get there, we'll settle down. And then we'll talk." I tell her and take her hand. She smiles at me and turns her head to look at the road. I'm not going to let her think I'm going to stop. Tonight they will clear everything

Sophia pov

Kevin is acting weird today, but after the lawyer's phone call, he changed. The lawyer told me that everything was going well. In the end, my ex only signed what he wanted some more money. But I don't mind at all as long as it's all over soon. I have kept some finances. I also work for Kevin, so I will be able to cover the amount.

I don't want Kevin to know. Because he will tell me to cover the amount, and this is not going to happen. As for the relationship between us, for the time being only friendly and professional.
