I wasn’t crazy enough to attempt his head-first dive so I got myself turned around and went down through the vent feet first. My hands were raised above my head, holding my guns up as I fell towards the sounds of chaos. I looked down and could finally see the ground approaching fast. I braced myself right before I hit the ground and forced myself to roll. I ended up in a sort of half crouch and pointed my guns out in front of me. Adontis was busy defending against two drone Xerclanz across the room. I got brief glimpses of metal tables and what looked like children laying on them. A Chief and one of the scythe-wielding Xerclanz came charging towards me and I started shooting.
Last time I didn’t have my incendiary rounds with me when I went up against that last Chief, this time I blew its
