Emery was starting to regain consciousness. She started coughing up the fluids she had been trapped in and I sat her up straight. We were both soaked so there was nothing I could use to dry her off. My battle companion came walking over to us and knelt in front of us. His sword was back in its sheath on his back and he held a bandana in his hand.
