Chapter 18

I haven't really heard from Bella much today. The one time I did she asked when I was coming home. I'm not sure what I did to upset her. I think she is hiding something from me.

I finally park my truck and get ready to walk into the house to see my mate. I am nervous and I have a lot of questions popping in my head at once. I slowly walk towards the front door.

As I turn the knob to the front door of the house I get this knot in my stomach. I walk in anyways I hear everyone in the kitchen. I walk to the kitchen and I see my beautiful mate, our children, and my sister Jacky all standing together facing me.

I start reading all their shirts and when I read Bella's shirt my heart stops. We are having a baby. I walk up to my mate and kiss her with so much passion. "So this is why you have been acting weird?" I say when I pull away and put my forehead on hers.

"Well I wanted it to be a surprise," she says and rubs her belly. I lean down and kiss her little baby bump. How did I not notice her little belly? "Well come on baby let's eat," I say grabbing her hand and leading her to the dining room.

We all sit down at the table and I can't imagine my life without the 5 little ones sitting at the table as well as my mate. "I made your favorite baby," Bella says passing me a plate.

"This looks amazing baby," I say to her and kiss her hand. We eat and talk about how everyone's day went. "Baby is this what you spent all day doing?" I ask her.

She is absolutely glowing knowing she is pregnant with my pup it makes me so happy. "So I made an appointment with the doctor tomorrow to check on the pup," Bella says to me while we eat.

"What time is the appointment?" I ask her while picking up the empty plates off the table. "It's at 8:30 in the morning," she says as she stands up to help clear the table. "Hey, guys do you'll want me to put the pups to bed?" Jacky asks handing her plate to me.

"Yes please but they haven't had a bath yet," Bella tells her. "That's fine I'll give them a quick bath and get them to bed while you'll clean up," Jacky says and turns around calling for the kids to go upstairs.

"So are you really excited about the baby?" Bella asks and I can't believe she asks me this. "Of course, I am happy we are having a pup. Why wouldn't I be?" I ask her grabbing the last plate off the table.

"I don't know. I just want to make sure you're not upset about it," she says as we walk to the kitchen to put the dishes in the dishwasher. "Bella I love you and since finding you I have hoped of having pups with you. I don't care if the house is full of little feet running around," I say to her as I put the last of the dishes in and turn on the dishwasher.

"I love you too, baby," she says and gives me a kiss. "I'll see if Jacky will watch the pups while we go to the doctor," I say to her. "Go upstairs and relax I'll be in after I talk to Jacky," I say to her and walk to the kid's room to find Jacky.

"Hey Jacky can I ask a favor?" I ask her as she gets Lana out of the tub. "Yeah bro what's up," she says back to me. "Can you stay tonight and watch the kids in the morning while we go to the doctor?" I ask her.

"You know I will bro. I'll be in the guest room downstairs," she says ask she gets Lana dried off. "Thank you so much sis," I say and walk out of the room and head to mine and my mate's room.I walk into our room and I find my mate laying on the bed already asleep. The pregnancy must already be taking a toll on her. I walk over and cover her up.

She looks so beautiful as she sleeps. After I cover her up I decide I'm going to take a shower. After everything that happened this week, I just need a shower to wash the week away.

I just can't get over that we are going to have a pup. I can not wait to see what the doctor says tomorrow. I don't know how I didn't notice it before. I should have known when her scent had changed. When her scent got stronger.

I should have known. But I didn't I feel like such a horrible mate. But I am so happy about the new pup I can't wait to meet him or her. And we only have a short time to prepare it won't be long til the pup is here.

It will only be 5 months and our bundle of joy is here we don't know how far along she is but we will find out tomorrow.
