The contractor had outdone himself—the new dining hall was nothing short of beautiful. Last minute, she’d decided to keep the original packhouse, connecting the dining hall to it with a sunlit corridor. At first, she’d wanted to tear it all down—wipe away every trace of Alaric and the pain he caused.
