Finally, she looked up to find Kalia sitting on the wooden stairs. The other woman was quite possibly the most beautiful thing Desa had ever seen: short and slim with long, brown hair that almost touched the small of her back. Her face was a perfect oval with a delicate nose and dark eyes that seemed to pull you in. Today, Kalia had donned a sleeveless, red dress and a straw hat.
