SERENA'S POV
“Who is it?” I blurted out, rushing up on the bed.
The guard shot me a ‘how am I supposed to know look’.
Ouch, that hurt.
I rushed out of the bed without stopping until Rudy held me back.
“Where do you think you're going, young lady?” She gave me a puzzled look.
Oh, I forgot the stab injury in my thigh.
“She'll be out soon, I need to redress her wound.” She dismissed the guard.
He lingered for a second as though to confirm if she was lying before he left.
