SERENA'S POV
The minute I got into the car, I went to my position and just closed my eyes.
I couldn't sleep because the receptionist’s words won't stop ringing in my head.
The certainty in her eyes as she confirmed the return of whoever it was that held Wayne's heart previously scared me.
I just couldn't imagine seeing Wayne with another woman.
Heck! He didn't look or act like he'd ever been a woman.
Where did he meet this woman?
Who can she be?
Various thoughts crossed my mind in the space of the few secinds that I got into the car.
I was so lost in thoughts that I didn't notice him entering the car.
However, I felt the car move and just balled myself up into a corner of the car.
