Alex The drive back was awkward. I couldn't find a way to break this tense silence and kept glancing back at Alison. Her eyes were unfocused and her brows furrowed, as if revisiting a bad memory—which I guessed had something to do with what she'd said at her parents' house. What did she mean, kidnapped and abused?
