Chapter99

1059 Words

NORA The morning breeze drifted into our room, tugging softly at the curtains as I sat by the edge of the bed, staring at Logan’s back. He was already halfway through pulling on his black shirt, his muscles stretching with each motion, his wolf always alert, even at rest. But my thoughts weren’t on how handsome he looked. They were on how in the Goddess’s name I was supposed to keep him here… without him knowing why. Two days. That’s all I had. Two more days until the surprise I had been planning for weeks would finally come to life. His birthday. The day he never talked about, the day he never even remembered. He once told me how he hated it, because it was always forgotten or filled with duty, he lied. But ThankGod the pack members had told me the truth and real reason behind it.
