I had my reasons why I invited Bradley for dinner tonight. I wanted to test him. Bradley had a fiancé, but he had cheated on her once or twice already. His fiancé, Mila, worked for me for many years, and I had listened to her many times when she wasn’t sure about Bradley being faithful.
Mila became a good friend of mine, and I was just doing her a little favor. I knew Birdie would spark interest in Bradley, and I could tell he was already trying his hardest not to stare at her.
