“There’s something in that eyes…God..!!Why can’t I forget those eyes…!!!But I must agree he looks so handsome….Nandini…what are you thinking about…??If anyone comes to know that you are thinking about a random guy,,,,,no…..” Nandini closed her eyes tightly praying to God.

Since morning, those eyes came rushing in front of her eyes whenever she closed her eyes.And she started this chanting when she was trying to sleep.By the time she made herself comfortable on bed,there was a knock at the door.She went to open the door and saw her brother Harshad standing at the door holding glass of milk.He came inside almost by pushing her and placed the glass on side table.

“Bro…Please…Not again…” She pleaded with a puppy face.

“Exactly…not again…just come and drink this…You again forgot to have milk…” Harshad said in a strict tone.

“Bro…Don’t act as if you don’t know…I forgot it purposely…You know right, I hate milk…Please bro…” She said in a pleading tone.

“Huh…okay fine then..I will go to grandma and will tell her that you and your friends have planned to go to a movie that too bunking the college tomorrow…” Harshad threatened.

Nandini was scared for a second and immediately stopped him.

“Bro…How do you know..??” She asked being shocked.

“I am your Brother…No one knows you better than me…now will you have it or not…??” He asked with a smrik on his face.

Nandini made a pout face and closed her nose and drank the milk in a gulp.

“Good girl…” He said ruffling her hairs.

She gave a weak smile at him and he smiled cleaning the milk-moustache on her face.He placed his hand on her head and said “Good night Nini..”

“Good night Bro…”She said happily.She always feels happy whenever her brother calls her Nini.She feels like she is still a little kid for his brother and actually it is true.Her brother always feels like she is a child to him.

Next day.

In the morning,

Aarav was waiting for Nandini at the same place where he saw her for the first time.He forgot about the meeting and was waiting like a Romeo.Little did he know,Nandini will not come to college as she and her friends were outing.After an hour,he realized how foolishly he was behaving.He tapped his head and immediately drove to office.Everyone seemed shocked as for the first time Aarav was late.He immediately went to his cabin and sat being frustrated.

“Aarav..What has happened to you…??Why are you behaving like a lover boy..?? Shame on you Aarav…waiting in front of college gate that too for a girl you hardly know…What’s wrong with you…??How can you neglect your work…??No Aarav…You can’t do this…From now,just forget her and concentrate on your work…”He said to himself and opened his laptop.

Just then Karan entered his cabin. Seeing him,Aarav’s thoughts again went and sat with Nandini.Before Karan started,Aarav said “Karan…don’t…I don’t want to know anything about her…just leave that topic…”

This shocked Karan.

“But…what happened…???” Karan asked in surprise. The last night, Aarav was so excited to know more about her and the next morning, he was all grumpy.

“You know Karan…for the first time, I was late to office…just because….I was waiting for her at that place…Karan…only 5 minutes of our meet drove me this crazy…then imagine,how this love can effect my work…and I don’t want that to happen…So please…” He said in one go and Karan gave a slight smile looking at him.

“Dude…True love is a constant battle in between your heart and mind.Only when both are in sync with each other that true love comes into being…And I believe that my friend can manage his work and love simultaneously…” Karan replied as he doesn’t want Aarav to leave his feelings which he is experiencing for the first time.

“Do you really think so..??” Aarav asked.

“Yes Aarav…It just needs some time…but I am sure that you can balance everything…” Karan assured.

“Really…??” Aarav asked again.

Karan sighed and asked “Aarav…Are you able to forget her…??”

He silently nodded in a no.

“So then…bro…you can give it a try…you surely can balance…Think twice before you decide anything…Follow your heart but take your brain with you…” Karan said and stood to leave but stopped when Aarav asked “What’s her name..??”

A naughty smile danced on both their faces and Karan turned to Aarav to say “Nandini…Nandini Mehta..”

Karan came back and sat beside Aarav.

“Want to know more…??” Karan asked with a smirk and Aarav nodded with a sheepish smile.Karan started telling every single detail he has gathered and Aarav was listening with full of concentration as if he has to c***k an exam on that topic.A slight smile took its place on his face all this while.After a good 10 mins, Karan completed.

“She is even more beautiful from heart…” Aarav unknowingly said, thinking about her.

“Well..that’s true…” Karan seconded.

Karan got a call and went to attend it while Aarav started recollecting whatever Karan said about her.When Karan returned,he said “Aarav…I have to leave…urgent work…and yeah…be ready for tomorrow…”

“Tomorrow…???” He asked with a confused expression.

“Yeah…be ready…” He said and ran towards the door while Aarav shouted “Tell me…what is it…???”

But Karan has already left to which Aarav sighed and tried concentrating on his work.

The next day,

“Karan…will you atleast tell me where are you taking me…???” Aarav asked almost for hundredth time while Karan had his signature smile on his face without responding to Aarav.He just dragged Aarav once he got ready for office and not even informed about where he was driving.

That evil smile frustrated Aarav very badly and he started hitting Karan to tell where were they going.

“Aarav…be patient…” Karan said and stopped the car and Aarav was shocked to see the place.

“Karan...Why did we come here…??” Aarav asked being surprised and that was the place where Nandini and Aarav first met.

“Dude…Listen to me carefully…Now Nandini will come…that too alone…you go…and help her in crossing the road…eventually she will thank you…then introduce yourself…and it will be your first meet…” Karan explained what he has planned.

“Karan…Have you lost it..??and why would Nandini come alone…?? You only told right..that her friend…who is she..yeah Mehak…She will pick her daily…then…” Aarav asked in irritation. He cannot understand a single thing that's going on Karan's mind.

“Uff….Quiet…Relax…I am not that dumb like you bro…I have planned everything…How Nandini came alone when you first saw her…??? Because Mehak’s bike was punctured…and today too….” Karan said and grinned while Aarav smiled seeing him knowing his mischievous behavior.
