Chapter 1| Lilith Bronwyn

140 Words
Lilith Pulling the misted sunglasses off my face, I drag my cheap overnight luggage through the terminal doors and into the pouring rain. Large puddles line the pathway, rippling when droplets jostled them. Anxiety thrummed its way through my body, reverberating until I was a bundle of nerves. Being in an unfamiliar place surrounded by strangers was definitely not my strong suit- especially in the cold and dark. I swiftly dodge out the way when some giant walking trees s***h teenage boys almost bump into me. Quickly, I pull my frilly cardigan closer to my shivering body but it doesn't do much good seeing as its practically hanging on by a thread. The bitter wind whips my brown hair across my face as I reach for my phone from my pocket. My headphones in my ears, drumming a familiar beat to calm myself.
