Dreaming of Becoming A Vampire

Scared

I started making some calls. We all just need to get it together before anymore happens. Everyone is scared now since everything is going on. Adam is healing nicely from when he got attacked. I'm really scared now since I don't know what's going to happen next. With all the warnings the notes is becoming too much. I'm not sure what to think anymore what to do. I do not want to be with Adam and I think I'm falling in love with him. I know are supposed to be mates. What does that really mean? Should I heed the warnings and stay away from Adam? Should I go with my gut and stay with him? This is what I keep asking myself. I'm driving myself crazy with all of this information going on in my head. There was anything going on my friends do not sure what to do. I have really no idea there's anything we can do. What I was planning that we been doing doesn't work? I'm tired of seeing all my friends scared and worried about their families. I need to learn more about these hunters that are coming after us. If I do maybe that will help us not be scared so much. I'm going to try to ask Adams brothers for information on the hunters. Going to search the Internet about supernatural hunter’s organizations. Hopefully I can find out who's hunting us and who they are. So I can gain footing on the hunters before they do something else to my friends or to me.

I finally got a hold of everybody. We are supposed to meet at my house around 10 o'clock tonight. So even though over the last information to keep everybody the same page. We also need to make sure all the security cameras are working. I need to get with Sami to make sure all the wards are up. I just know it's hard to fight someone you don't know much about. It comes easier to be scared then to fight. I do believe if we stick together we can overcome anything that comes our way. I need to go tell Adam and Sam that the group will be here soon.

“Sam I'm going to head home to get things ready. Everyone will be at my house at 10 tonight. Tell Adam I will see him soon. Bye.”

“Well do. If you need anything just call.”

Then I left and went home.

Everyone started to arrive right at 10 PM. Sam, Jake, and Trent went to bring over Adam. This gave me a chance to talk to my friends without Adam. I needed to know how Sami and Haven was doing with all the new information that they been given.

“Sami and Haven I was wondering how you guys were handling everything that has been thrown your way?” Sami spoke up.

“It was shocked to find out that I had a mate, let alone find out that it was Trent who is Adams brother.” Haven said.

“I still didn't know what to do, but I’m going to listen to any suggestions from everyone here tonight. No matter what I choose to do, I don't plan on ever betraying my friends. She may be my half-sister that I did not know I had. She has known for a long time about me I have only found out about her. I think it's a lot to take in, short time that it all just came about.”

“I agree with you both, that it is a lot to take in. We have learned so much about each other let alone throw in mates and half-sisters.”

Finally Adam and his brothers showed up so we could start the meeting.

“Now that we are all here we can begin. Sam would you like to begin?”

“There are some new things we need to talk about. One is Adams attack, second is Havens half-sister, and third is the note that Kenzie got taped to her door today. Why don't we start with Adams attack that happened while we were finishing up the security cameras? Trent you tell us about it.”

“There were two male hunters that came from behind knocking the ladder out from under him then throwing holy water on him and burning him with a crucifix. I think they done it as a warning for us to go away and leave all of you alone without help to face the hunters without us.”

“I think you may be right about all of that too Trent. Since two of you are mates of two of us then we will all state help them figure this out.”

“What do you think all of this is leading up too?” Jake asked.

“Not sure but let’s here the rest of stuff first. Now Haven tells us about the letter your half-sister sent to you.” said Sam.

“Thank you Sam. Okay let me begin by telling you I received a letter from my half-sister. She informed me that she has known about me for quite some time. That the hunters Association believe that I'm the one to bring peace and clarity to the hunters Association. There are some of the hunters that would like to see me dead. They do not want clarity and peace they want to carry on the way they are. So in some ways my half-sister is warning me that I could be in danger unless I betray all of you. She also wants to meet me some time to talk and it's now up to me if I will talk to her or not. I am not sure I'm ready for to talk to her since I just found out about her a week or so ago. I already know what Kenzie thinks I should do. I would like to know what the rest of you think.”

“Haven that has to be completely up to you if and when you want to meet your half-sister. None of us can make that decision for you. We can advise you on some things when it comes to her. I can understand your hesitation and being wary of her intentions.” ShaSha said. “All right now that we've talked about Adam's attack and Havens half-sister we still have the note that Kenzie gotten today.” Says Sam.

“Take it away Kenzie.”

“Yes I received another note today. This time it was the worst one yet. They did this as a warning to keep me away from Adam. Attacked him to show me that I would not be safe with them if I choose to stay with a vampire. The note says if I stayed I would be next and that my friends would soon follow. That's the gist of the note that they left today. I guess we need to decide what we want to do and how we need to protect ourselves. I know were all scared for our friend and our families but maybe that will help us stay alert. The only way out that I see is a stick together coming up with a good plan. So we know how to handle the hunters coming after us. Is not going to be easy but if we need to stick together, cover each other's backs, we should be able to get through this and find out who these hunters are. We need to call in and check with each other regularly. Especially by having our cell phones on and ready to go. If anybody else has any ideas let's talk here them now or concerns.”

The group sat silent for a little while before anyone came forward.

ShaSha came forward to talk.

“We need to figure out how many hunters there are and how they are getting all of their information about all of us. We also need to think about the timeline that interfaces with receiving all the warnings. If we can figure out what time of the day, each of this received are warning and when they showed up at the Café. We should be able to figure out how many hunters there are. The security tapes at the Café should help us with a rough estimate of timeline when they started showing up. Also to the timeline for when Adam showed up for the first time at the Café.”

Dillion spoke up to agree with what ShaSha had to say.

“I also want noted that I been working from home a lot more extended traveling with his job. It's certainly not going to be easy to find out who the hunters are.”

Shea is dating a computer nerd named Russell. He might be able to help us figure out who the hunters are without letting him know why we need all of the information for. And even though he's dating Shea. I still think he's a closet gay. There is something about him that is off. Plus I don't want to hurt Shea’s feelings.” said Dillion.

Adam spoke up. “Do you really want bring any more people into this that we already have to?”

“I don’t want to bring anyone into this, but I don’t think we are going to have any choice. This guy is the best computer nerd out there and could hack into any system.”

“We really need to think long and hard before any more people into this. We could be bringing more danger up on us and then some to him just for helping us.”

“What do you mean you think there's something off about this guy?”

“It is just a feeling that I have. Someone told me he was really gay and is fighting it. That he refuses to admit that he is gay, but I think there could be more.”

“No we really don't think he's gay it’s just a joke amongst all of us as friends. That there is something off about Russell. Even if he is a friend of ours.”

“We still feel like he's hiding something from all of us not quite sure what it is.” Said Kenzie.

Adam told, Jake to do some research on Russell.

“We need to find out all we can before we ask for help” said Adam.

“It's getting late everybody we should wrap this up.”

“We will come up with a code for texting as soon as we can to alert everybody faster. Have a good night and take care everybody at least called check-in to let everyone know you made it home.”

Adam and Kenzie said together. Everyone left and the house was in total silence. Sam and Trent helped Adam into bed and Jake made sure all the doors were locked. Then Kenzie went to bed next to Adam.
