Cynthia set the table Friday night as Vivian finished cooking. The pork chops smelled so good, and she was hungry after a long day at work.
She was really starting to love her job. She decided to start looking into staying in Bereton long term. Get a place of her own. Talk to her boss about turning her job into something permanent. Have a talk with Henry about their future. Maybe even stop her freelance work.
Unfortunately, she knew Henry had to be the first of those conversations, and she wasn’t ready for that.
