After finishing talking to the guys I was a little annoyed with myself because I completely forgot what my Shelly was wearing and now the guys won't leave me alone about it.  They keep saying they couldn't believe I broke up with her to allow her to date other people.  No, none of the guys there were the people that convinced me to break up with Shelly.  It was mainly people from my study group like Sally.  Needless to say, I ditched the study group.  These guys are my football buddies and thanks to me not making sure Shelly was covered they hinted that when she get's to Harvard if I hurt her again any one of them would be willing to help her pick up the pieces.

I feel someone watching me as I finish my last lap.  I was proud of myself.  I had actually done 25 laps today alternating between strokes mainly using my legs to help build up my muscles.  Anyway, that feeling drew my eyes up and I saw Noah on his balcony watching me.  I grinned and waved at him as I got out to sit on the lounger.  As I was laying out drying and tanning myself I felt someone sit down next to me.  "Hey, I am Tim what's your name?"  "Hey, I am Elle."  "Oh, nice so, would you like to go and grab a bite to eat sometime."  I lift up my left hand and realize my ring is on top of Noah's dresser since I was going swimming and didn't want it to slip off in the pool.  He glances at my hand "is that supposed to mean something?"  "Uh, Shelly baby why isn't this where it belongs,"  Noah says as he walks up and slips my ring on my finger.  "Because I was swimming and didn't want to lose it in the pool babe."  "Ok, Oh hey  Tim what ya doing here."  "Didn't Aunt June tell you."  "nope" "Oh, since we are moving here my parents sent me out early so I can start school this semester."  "So, I take it this is the girl you're so fond of."  "Yep, this is my Shelly."  "Ok, you two exactly who is Tim?"  "Oh, my cousin on mom's side."  "Ahh cool."  "HEY TWIN DUNCAN TEXTED AND SAID HE WOULD DO THE BOOTH."  "GREAT TWIN.  TUPPEN TOLD ME EARLIER HE WOULD AS WELL.  I WOULD LIKE TO GET AT LEAST FOUR MORE SO WE CAN HAVE TWO GOING THIS TIME AND HAVE AT LEAST THREE SHIFTS."  "Shelly what is going on the fair came and went already."  "Oh, the homeless shelter down on fifth street is desperate for blankets and stuff so they asked the school to throw another fair to raise money for it so we are going to have another one this semester."  "I am so proud of the two of you.  You are just running it not participating right like last time."  "Sweety I told you last time I wasn't supposed to participate but my illustrious TWIN blindfolded me and pushed me on stage."  "Yeah, I still need to get him back for that one."  "Why if it wasn't for him pushing me on stage you might not have admitted the truth that has brought us here."  "True so true.  So, when are these appointments."  "Tomorrow they start at 11 AM and continue till 4 PM at the latest."  "While you take June and Mathew to the airport me and Lee will get busy."  Tim looked at us "HUH that sounds bad."  I squeaked. "NO, ah that is just so gross.  ahh no no no gag me"  All of a sudden I jump up and yell "move now."  I take off running and Noah is not far behind me but poor Tim is sitting there when we hear "GERONIMO"  Then I watch as poor Tim gets soaked.  Lee looks around "Damn it again.  You know twin I am really starting to hate that damn twinlepathy we have."  "Well, cheer up you got your cousin."  "Yeah, so true you didn't warn him."  "Oh, I did he just didn't move."  I hear Rachel while she is walking out "Piece of advice dude if you ever hear myself or Elle there yell move now or something similar get under the awning fast."  Lee leans against the pool wall "Oh, Rachel babe this is my cousin Tim.  Tim this is my girl Rachel. I take it you met my twin Elle Noah's fiancee."  "Yeah, why do you call her twin?"  "oh, that is a long story."  

Tim says "Hey Lee whatever happened to that hot chick your mom used to hang out with I think her name was Mary."  I didn't even realize I was missing her that much and tears started pouring down my face.  "Hey, baby no please don't cry.  Come here, Shelly."  "I miss her Noah and she isn't going to be here tomorrow, for the wedding or to help me pick out my dress.  I just realized all of this."  He lifted up my chin "She will be there baby she will be by us every step of the way.  Mary is going to watching over us on our special day."  As Noah lifts me up and carries me inside I hear him say.  "Cuz don't worry about it you didn't know.  Lee will explain the twin thing and well everything."  I hear Lee go into detail about why I was crying until Noah shut the patio door blocking out the story Lee was relaying.

Later on, when I was downstairs Tim came up to me.  "Hey, I am so sorry I didn't know."  "It is ok it just hit me all at once that the most important events in my life this year she will not be here for.  Graduation, and my wedding."  "So, you and Noah huh."  "Yeah, I couldn't help it.  It has been building for years.  Well for both of us."  "Well, I am happy for you sorry I hit on you earlier it is just you really are pretty."  I smiled "Thank you but don't worry about Lee and I can introduce you to a lot of girls."
