NOAH'S LOVE

BUSTED

I hadn't realized how essential me becoming pregnant was to Noah.  I also hadn't understood that I was also looking forward to it as well.  I was in my first class of the day when I realized I had started.  I had gone to the restroom, and I sat there crying hugging myself, and it was then I realized that I wanted to have Noah's baby and nothing mattered to me more and now knowing it wasn't going to happen broke my heart.  I guess I must have been there a while because Rachel came in and looked at me "Elle sweety what is wrong?"  I look up at her with tears streaming down my face "I'm not pregnant."  "Oh, no honey did you just realize you wanted to have Noah's baby already?"  "Yes, I need Noah."  "Ok let's get you out of here, and we will have Lee all him."  Luckily Noah was back for the summer since he had finished all his final projects and taken all his finals.    So, as soon as Rachel told Lee, I needed Noah he called him.  I must have freaked out both Rachel and Lee because when Noah showed up, he picked me up in his arms and carried me to his car.   Noah drove me to his house and carried me inside and up to his room.  Once in there, he grabbed my face "please Shelly tell me what is wrong you scaring me.  Please stop crying."  I look up at him reach into my purse and pull out a tampon and head to the bathroom.  Since I couldn't speak, I was hoping showing him that I had started would let him know what was wrong.  When I came out, he pulled me close to him "Baby, please tell me this is not because you are upset about disappointing me."  I shook my head and looked up at him I tried to tell him and I couldn't I buried my head in his chest and sobbed.  I felt his body stiffen and he lifted up my chin so I could look into his eye's "You mean to tell me you wanted to be pregnant?"  I finally squeak out "Yes, I realized when..."  "Oh, baby we still have plenty of time for that to come about."   He held me until I cried myself to sleep.  

When I woke up, he was holding me, and when I looked up at him, he smiled and kissed me.  "Well, now the question is do you want to continue to try or do you want to wait."  "Let's wait for a little while I need to feel better about this."  "Ok let me know when your ready baby."  With that said he reached into his nightstand and grabbed the box of condoms and was getting ready to throw them out when he glanced in the box and noticed it was empty.  He looked at me stunned "Babe we have a problem."  I sat up and looked at him "What is the problem, Noah?"  "Please don't be mad but I was so determined to get you pregnant I kind of sabotaged this box and well we only used one, and it is empty."  I looked at him "Oh, s**t does that mean that Rachel?"  "Yep, I think we need to tell Lee."  "Yeah, because I know Rachel is not on the pill." We looked at each other and knew this was not going to be good.

After we got dressed, we went out looking for Lee and overheard him talking to June and Mathew.  "Mom, I promise we did use protection I don't know what happened."  "Well, obviously they didn't work."  Noah walks into the kitchen.  "Well, that would be my fault."  I walked over to him and reached for his hand holding it in mine.  "What do you mean son?"  Mathew asked.   Noah hung his head all of a sudden Lee yelled: "What the f**k you sabotaged them to get Shelly pregnant didn't you?"  "Yes, but bro I didn't know you were using them."  Lee glared at him "This is all your fault.  Her parents are thinking of throwing her out all because of you."  All of a sudden Mathew stood up and yelled "ENOUGH!!! FIRST OFF LEE YOU SHOULD NOT BE HAVING s*x IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED FOR THE CONSEQUENCES.  SECOND THIS IS NOT YOUR BROTHERS FAULT YOU SHOULD OF PROVIDED YOUR OWN PROTECTION."  He took a deep breath and looked at Noah "As for you I can not believe the lengths you went to deceiving Elle like that son.  I hope this has taught you a lesson on how important it is to discuss decisions with your partner."  Noah looked at him "Yes, sir I have and on that note...Elle is not pregnant."  Tears started sliding down my cheeks again and all of a sudden June wrapped her arms around me "Oh, sweetheart when did you realize."  "This morning when I started in school.  June I really..."  "Shh Elle don't cry you and Noah still have plenty of time to build a family."  I looked at her and Mathew "you're not disappointed we are at this stage in our relationship."  She chuckled "I had a feeling that deep down inside you really wanted to be pregnant.  You didn't make big enough of a fuss about Noah trying to get you pregnant.  Know this we will support you besides you two are getting married.  This is the next step in your relationship."  

After that conversation, Noah and I headed over to my house to let my dad know he was not going to be a grandpa yet.  He looked at me and hugged me "Baby girl when the time is right you will have a baby."  I looked at him "Dad, did you want this?"  "Yeah, we all did.  The idea that you two would make me a grandpa made me a little giddy."  I hugged him before heading up to my room with Noah.  After getting ready for bed, he wrapped his arms around me "So, I know right now we can't try, but I hope it is soon."  I look up at him "Soon."
