Chapter 3I was on my way to the costume party Kristen had encouraged me to attend.
I wasn’t certain why I was going. I didn’t even like socializing. Grr. Damn Kristen and her challenges. Damn internship, actually! I did like wearing costumes, however. Other than conventions, I didn’t have many opportunities to do so. I had gotten this medieval black dress nearly a year ago and had only ever worn it in the privacy of my own house. It was a travesty! I needed to at least find one event to wear it to. So, for tonight at the very least, I needed to gird my loins, suck it up, and just go to the party.
