I set in the library during lunch to catch up on all my missing work. With all the s**t going on , school was my main focus.

In the past couple days alot of s**t has happen. Micheal got sentenced 4 months in the county jail , Apparently somebody rated them out and the cops busted their trap , they couldn't find Varo and scooby nem so they pinned the charges on micheal and since this was his first felony they let him off easy , As for Marco he got a warning since hes under age. Rumor has it varo and chanelle are living with each other and are together. All I been doing is going to school and going straight home , I really don't wanna be bothered with anything at the moment. Fall break is next week and all I plan on doing is relaxing for that whole week.

" Can I sit here?" I looked up to see a tall darkskin boy with dreads. He was fine no doubt but he looked kinda creepy.

" Sure." I said moving my bag so he can have some room.

" i'm lloyd."

" Cash."

" Oh your varos girl right?"

" Why would you think that?"

" Everybody knows about the infamous cash Aka varos girl."

" Well no , we don't talk anymore."

" May I ask why?"

" He just found out he had a baby and I don't need the babymomma drama plus we wasn't really mixing in the first place." I said with a shrug.

" chanelle right."

" yeah , you know her?"

"Everybody knows chanelle , I f****d her a couple times." I laughed at his bluntness.

" Everybody f****d that hoe."

" You ain't from here."

" Yeah , I moved here this summer. I'm from Atlanta."

" I can tell by your accent , i'm not from here either , i'm from brooklyn."

" That's chill , why you move to compton?"

" My momma passed away , so I came to live with my pops."

" I'm sorry for your lost , I just recently lost my moms."

" Damn , you aight?" He said putting his hand on my shoulder.

" Yeah i'm good , I learned to cope with it."

" I feel you."

" So are you apart of this life?"

" What life?"

" This gang life."

" Nah , To be honest it's stupid as hell and a waist of life. Fighting over territory and risking your life just for fast money. It's the easy way out and I believe in working hard to get what I want. Yeah if I wanted I could go out there and slang but its not worth me losing my life or being locked behind bars for the rest of my life." He said with a shrug.

I smiled in satisfaction , I never thought i'd meet a guy that wasn't about gang banging and selling drugs.

" So what do you want to do with your life then."

" Believe it or not , I always been about books. I wanna do something that makes me think alot , like a doctor or a lawyer."

" Damn , I woulda thought you was all about sports or something." I said with a chuckle. He smiled and showed off his crooked smile.

" Nah , I like sports and all but i don't see myself doing that."

" Oh."

" So what about you cash? What you wanna do with your life." I sighed and shrugged.

" Haven't really thought about it , i'm just living day by day. I know I don't wanna go to college , and I always wanted my own business , like a*****e or a salon." I said with a shrug.

" Why not college?"

" I think its a waist of time instead of spending more years behind a desk I could be doing something else that benefits me." He nodded his head and smirked.

" What?"

" I never had a conversation like this with a female besides my momma." He said with a smile.

" I never had a conversation with a dude without cussing him out so you should feel lucky." He laughed and stood up.

" Nice talking to you cash."

" You too lloyd." I said with a smile as he walked away. I looked at the time and saw that lunch would be ending in 5 minutes. I put my books in my bag and threw it over my shoulder and walked out of the library.

" So how have you been?" Claire asked as I sat in therapy. I decided to Come and just clear my mind of everything that's been going on.

" I've been cool, Me and varo broke up and all I been trynna do is concentrate on school. "

" Why did you and Varo breakup? "

" We just wasn't vibing and plus I don't have time for babymamma drama." I said with a shrug.

" So has chanelle popped?"

" Yup, He was born on my birthday. "

" How was your birthday? "

" It was cool, I kicked it with my friends and I met my friend scoobys little baby girl." She nodded and wrote something on her notepad.

" Have you visited your mother lately?" I shook my head no not really wanting to get into this Conversation.

" Why not? "

" I don't see the reason to. I'll be going to see her soon though."

" That's good, So mentally how have you been? Have you been thinking about your father lately? "

" Ummm no I actually got a letter from him"I said pulling it out of my purse and giving it to her. She put on her glasses and started reading.

" Wow." She said handing it back to me. " How do you feel about that? "

" Honestly after drinking my life away after reading it, I sat and thought I don't believe my father is dead honestly and I'm determined to bring down Diablo, he's not getting away with what he put me through. "

" So your seeking revenge? "

" Damn right." I said with a shrug.

" So how about crying have you been crying lately? Have you snapped on anybody?"

" I haven't cried or snapped on anybody, and you'll be happy to know that I don't wanna murder varos babymoms anymore. " I said with a grin.

" Why not?"

" Because I'm not worried about her and varo anymore their not my problem and I'm not waisting my time with that."

" That's good cash, I'm glad your letting go of all that negative energy I want you to focus on school and getting your life back on track."

" Yeah that's what I been trynna do, I met a dude today and he was really cool."

" I don't think you should fall back into dating so soon." She said shaking her head.

" Nah not like that, he was like really cool to talk to, I can see myself being cool with him."

" That's cool, you need only positive vibes around you right now, How about the gang life." She said raising an eyebrow.

" I wouldn't know, besides getting revenge on Diablo I been staying clear of all that , and I don't plan on going after Diablo until fall break."

" OK, well that's enough for today, same time next week." She said as I stood up.

" OK, I'll see you then. " I said walking out the door. I smiled and satisfaction, I'm glad I'm making progress. I'm done with trynna be that bad b***h that nobody f***s with , I only want positive vibes.

Back in Compton cash had 2 friends not including the one that was killed..... y'all be seeing those 2 shortly!!!
