A BOY!?

It's Wednesday, June 1 now and the class will begin on Monday. I'm bored, so I tried to find a suitable job for a student like me. I think it's not too hassle for me so why not? at least I can have my own money. And thanks to my luck I got the job.

My part-time job is in a small store where you can find the materials for DIY etc. I can be a cashier for now and I'm in the store right now with the owner. He's gay, not that I'm judging him or what but the way he moves and speaks is screaming that he is gay. He is the talkative one and a warm person that's why I got the job easily. He is easy to talk to and patient. I kinda messed up some prices when a group of freshmen stop by they were loud and arguing but funnily, but they bought so many things and my brain just stop its work but he never scolded me. After that, I went to arrange my things actually, I just take a rest and go out. When I arrived at the dorm the cute wasn't there I think he's not back yet. A while ago when we were talking there's a ring on his phone and he said he got emergency and then he leaves I even don't know his name yet.

I immediately open the door and there I saw the furious Eli. She glared at me but I just stared at her blankly.

" You wouldn't invite me in? " she sarcastically asked me, but I just get back on my things. As she roamed the room she find the room of my dormmate, she looked confused because of the door. It has a name on it and I realize that it was the name of my dormmate " Don't tell me your dormmate is aㅡnevermind "

" What? A boy?! Why would they agree to this? " she exclaimed

" It was not that complicated but if you can wait for him or come back tomorrow you can ask him yourself "

" Well I'm willing to wait, I already settled all my thing and I have nothing to do. My dormmates are not in the room, I choose the four so I will not get bored but they’re still on their vacation "

After an hour my dormmate named Erin showed up, he is panting and sweating so much. He looked afraid and tired too but when our gaze met he smiled at me and he went to his room.

" What happened? "

" I don't know he said there's an emergency and left me dumbfounded " after I said that she just mouthed me an ON

We hear the shower pour so we decided to watch a horror film called Epitaph, it's a Korean film about a little girl. Let's leave that there. After a while when we are in the middle of the movie. Erin sit on the floor and he gave me a snack.

" Nice one," I said and he hand the other to Eli

" Thanks, bro, Elijah," she said and lean on the sofa

" Erin," he said then we continue as the movie ended we all laugh because epiphany struck us. We forgot to breath

Eli decided to stay the night because she's somewhat afraid when she's alone. And we decided to get to know each other.

" So I'll start, I'm Elijah Blythe Smith, Eli for short. I'm Axha's friend we know each other since a kid. I'm currently staying with my Aunt before I transfer here and I'm fourteen turning fifteen next month. My Mom is an Indian so as for me but my dad is Filipino, Axha next "

" I'm Erin Guivarra, I'm Korean but my Eomma and Appa were now annulled and my Mom took me with her. I lived in Korea for 10 years and settled here for good. My Eomma also married a politician after 1 year of living here. I'm fifteen and I think we are all in 10th grade? " we just nod and decided to sleep. We sleep on the floor with our blanket and pillows. It's kinda hot and there's no aircon. After we settle we all dozed off to sleep.

As the sun started to irritate me, I don't have a choice but to move and continue my sleep to my room.

ELIJAH'S POV

I tracked Axha's phone before I texted her. After my first message, she replied but after that, she ignored the rest. So I decided to go to her dorm it's not that far from my location. I planned to go shopping but I have no company.

I knocked at her door after I knocked three times she open it. I glared at her but she just stood there with an unknown expression. Well if you're angry don't glare at her, trust me you will just humiliate yourself instead of scaring her. Also don’t laugh when she does something stupid if you don’t want some blank stares that will make you uncomfortable and will creep you out.

As I roamed the room I notice the other it has a name on it. ERIN

“ How's that possible? “ I just murmured after Axha leave to lay on the sofa again

After an hour that Erin guy arrived with sweats dripping off his body, he looked scared at thesame time embarassed when his gazed land inti me. We decided to watch a horror film and soon Erin joined us. After that we got to know each other and finally get some sleep because it's 11 PM already.
