Chapter 7- Boat Cruise

"Emma!!" My grandmother calls

"Comming nana!"

I roll out of bed, 6a.m so early.

I go down stairs to see what my grandmother can possibly want this early.

I come into the kitchen and see Aaron sitting on the stool

"Morning beautiful"

"Morning" I say confused

"I came to surprise you with a boat trip" he says

he is so cute, I don't know what my father could possibly have against him..

"I'll go get ready."

"do you want coffee first?" my grandmother asks us

"thankyou mrs. dolce"

" Thankyou nana" I say

I decided to dress casually and tie my hair in a low ponytail.

we drink our coffee on the porch and immediately get into the truck afterwords

it felt like we drove for hours before we finally got to a lake

I see a small boat on the lake

"Who's boat is this?" I ask

"It is my grandfathers boat, Just get on it"

he says holding his hand out

I take his hand and he helps me on the boat

he gets on after me and starts the boat

we drive out on to the lake

the sun is already high for 7 o'clock

the lake turned into a silver carpet

I can see other boats in the distance

suddenly the boat comes to a stop

Aaron comes closer to me and starts undressing

"what are you doing!!" I laugh

as he stands on the edge of the boat

"come on!!" he yells as he collides with the water

" You are crazy!!" I laugh

" The water is finee!!" he yells back to me

as if the waves would swallow his voice

"You can wear my shirt" he yells out of breath and turns around

I undress myself and puts his shirt on and jump into the water with him

he was right the water is really nice

he laughs and floats on his back

I can look at this boy forever I think to myself

he must've heard my thoughts because he came closer to me and asked "What's wrong?"

"Why?"

"You're smiling and blushing, or do you already have a sunburn" he teases

"I am not blushing!!" I yell and instantly feel my ears and cheecks get warmer

he grabs my waist "You are blushing"

"I am not " I laugh trying to break free of his grip but it is no use

this boy already has a grip on my heart

"Why are you blushing Emma" He teases further

"I am not blushing"

he puts his hand on my neck and puts his nose against mine , his lips brushing against mine when he suddenly dissapears underneath the water

"Aaron?" I yell

"Aaron!!!"

he pops up a few inches from me

"Why did you do that?!!" I yell at him

"Were you worried about me" He smirks

"No!!" I quickly defend

he dissapears underneath the water again and pops up right under neath me causing me to fall in to the water

"Aaron!!!" I yell again and start to laugh

he splashes me with water

"oh you're so going down !! " I yell and start splashing him back

I leap towards him hoping to push him under the water but he catches me and holds me in his arms

he touches my cheeck and puts his mouth against mine, I have dreamed so many dreams of this kiss, and finally it is happening. his mouth is so warm. he starts planting kisses in my neck, the warmth of his mouth and the coldness of the water colliding, creating the perfect sensation.

I have to hold it together, I can't let him know that I want him.

his hands starts to explore my body, squeezing my butt and slowly entering my underwear, I push him away, Knowing that if I let him do this, we will forever have a connection

"Sorry" He says

"We should probably get out and dry" he swims towards the boat and helps me up

we lay down on the boat with nothing on but our underwear

he starts to trace his fingers on my skin, igniting my body with electricity .

"You are so beautiful" he says looking into my eyes

I smile and start to blush again

"Emma"

" Yeah" I say turning to him and running my fingers through his hair

"I love you" He says

Is this boy out of his mind, We've known each other for 3 weeks

"You don't have to say it back, I just, I wanted you to know, That I love you, and I don't take the word lightly, I really do love you, You are the first woman I love, and will probably be the last."

"I do, feel the same, I just don't feel ready to say it yet" I tell him

"I understand " He says "I won't push you into something you don't want to do or say. I just want to tell you how I feel."

"Thankyou for telling me." I smile

"Oh yeah I have news" He says as he gets up

"Oh yeah?" I say rolling onto my tummy shaking my head yes for the dr. pepper he is offering.

" Before I met you, I send in an application to join the military, they called a few days ago to let me know that I got in, I'm starting training at the end of summer"

"Wow that is great news!!"

"Yeah, probably, I mean, I hoped to have more time to spend with you"

" You know I am going back home the end of summer?"

" Yeah I know, But I could have visited?"

"You can visit me anyway, I'm waiting for my college applications "

"Where do you think of going?"

"I don't know, I applied to NYU, and UCLA as well as yale. "

"Wow, got the brains and the looks I see." he teases

"What are you going to study? "

"I'm thinking of majoring in law"

he stiffens "well thats certainly something" he says turning away from me

"we should probably head back"

" Yeah" I say

"Lunch?"

"Sure." I smile

we drive back to the docks and tie the boat. we drive in silence to a quiet little restaurant

"I thought you only ate at Applebee's?"

"Yeah but the boys will be there and I feel like this is our time, I don't want them to waste any second I can spend looking at you" I realized his hand was on my leg the whole drive.

I reach for the door but he insisted that I stay seated while he opened it for me

"My lady." he holds his hand out and bows

I laugh, "I swear I have not laughed this much in a long time , It's nice"

"as long as it's a good thing." he winks

he opens the restaurant door for me and we walk in

we both ordered a burger and fries with a dr. pepper.

we ate and talked for atleast an hour when Ben and a girl came walking in

" Hey Aaron!! I thought it was you I saw sitting here with this pretty lady." he scoots in next to me putting his arm around my waist

I shuffle uncomfortably

"Ben, what are you doing here?" Aaron asks swallowing hard

"Oh don't worry Aaron, not here to cause trouble again, Just taking my date out for a nice meal, Then I saw you and thought I'd come say hi, I'll be on my best behavior" he winks at me while playing with the tooth pick between his lips.

Aaron gets up immediately and tells me we're leaving.

he grabs my hand and pulls me out of the restaurant, I have to practically jog to keep up with him.

"Aaron"

he opens the door and shows for me to get in

"what did ben mean?" I ask disobeying him and not getting in

"Just get in" his voice sounded different and it scared me, I got into the truck

"please tell me" I beg

"Don't worry about it, okay..." he says stroking my cheeck

"I'm sorry for being impatient with you, and raising my voice, I didn't mean it."

he took me home and stayed for some lemonade.

we lay on the grass and chatted for what felt like a few minutes, but when I looked up at the sky, the clouds painted a beautiful sky of purple, pink, orange, yellow and blue, as the sun started to set behind the mountains , reflecting it's beauty in the pond, everything perfect yet so full of chaos. Like an Oil painting. I yawned and started to fall asleep on Aarons lap. my heart finally at peace but yet also full of chaos and pain

"I love you Aaron" I say falling asleep
