Chapter 6- Aaron POV

I drive to the alley where the O'neil brothers told me to take the money.

I can't believe they came to us while Emma was with me, in that moment I felt like I could kill the whole lot of 'em. I put my gun behind my back and cover it with my shirt, never again will they threaten me.

I walk into the alley and hand them the money

"Looks like we need to beat you up more" jake laughs

Dom takes the money out of my hand and starts counting it

"That old woman gave you money again?" Jake asks

"Are we good?" I ask

"Yeah we're good, for now" Jake takes the money from Dom

Jake passes me and pats me on my shoulder

"How was the girl by the way?"

"Leave her alone!"

"We will, for now" he chuckles as they walk away.

I get in my truck and drive to Applebee's ...

I go in and see the whole gang at our booth. I don't feel like having them snooping or talking business.

I know I owe the o'neil brothers a lot of money, but this business just isn't for me anymore.

"Aaron!!" Ben yells

I walk right past them

"hey! what is your issue? to good for us now?!" ben pushes

I find a seat and sit down hollering the waiter.

" Aaron, what is your issue man?" ben asks me sitting down next to me

"Nothing, I just don't feel like sitting with the gang"

Julliana came walking up to me. "It's bevause of her ain't it?" ben keeps pushing

Julliana gives me a look that all men would know.

"Her?" she asks

"Oh julsie, You didn't know? yeah a girl, whats her name" Ben starts to laugh

" oh yeah" he says as if he had truly forgotten, but I know him well enough to know he wants to cause drama " Emma.." he chuckles

" what was her surname again? it's Dolce's granddaughter, real rich bitch."

"What did you just call her!?" I am boiling

nobody will ever again call her that to my face

"a rich b***h" Ben smirks

I grab he's collar and push him all the way against the wall knocking down everything and everyone in our way

"If you ever call her that again!"

"what? what are you going to do McCarthy!?"

" I will kill you!!"

mark pulled me off of Ben

"Aaron, sit down" he calmly says

"Ben get the hell out of this restaurant " he shows to the door

Ben and the gang walks out of the door

"well Aaron" Julliana looks disappointed in me

" what can I get you?"

"Julliana" i sigh

"I'm sorry, i know you had expectations, but I told you, what we have, had...It was just-"

"casual, I know Aaron, It just felt like it was more, it didn't feel casual anymore.."

"I'm sorry.."

"I hope she makes you happy."

"She does"

Julliana leaves to get mark to take my order but I decide against ordering anything and leaves.

why do woman always have to complicate everything, I told Julliana since the beginning we are nothing of each other, I will never love her, we can be casual but I don't have feelings for her and don't want to lable anything, now she's acting as if I cheated on her.

I slam my fists into my trucks steering wheel "Damn it!!!" I yell

I drive home slow, I have to much to think about and don't want to get mad again.

suddenly I find myself thinking about Emma again. dear sweet Emma, what have I gotten her into, maybe I should have just left her alone.

"Why didn't you tell me you were thinking about joining the military?" my grandfather sits in his chair near the kitchen infront of a black T.V

"I didn't think I'd get in" I say

"well they called" he sighs

"what did they say?"

"You got in, you will report to base at the end of the summer for your training."

Now I really have a lot to think about.
