Chapter Fourteen

945 Words
I opened my eyes and saw the clock said 7:57 am. I knew my husband was about to leave because every morning he leaves at 8:00 sharp. Not a minute less. I didn't have to go to work until ten, so I continued to lay in bed. I heard water running in the bathroom so he was most likely brushing his teeth. I wasn't sure because I was faced away from the door. I was a little uncomfortable so I scooted further down under the covers. I did it quick because I didn't want my husband to see I was up, because I knew he would try to talk about last night. I pulled the covers up a little bit, then I heard the bathroom door open. He must have seen me moving because he began to speak. "Leah? Leah come on I know you're awake." It was quiet for about five seconds before he continued. "Fine. We'll talk later." he said as I heard his footsteps head towards the door. Then about fifteen seconds later, I heard the front door shut. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. Then I heard the doorbell ring. The clock now read: 8:07. Who could that be this early? I put on my robe, and ran downstairs. I opened the door, and it was Julian. "Well good morning sunshine." "Good morning." I replied rubbing my eyes. "Is that what you're wearing to breakfast?" he said with a smile. "Oh crap, I completely forgot. Let me go get dressed and I'll be right down. You can come in." I said grabbing his arm pulling him inside. "Make yourself at home." I yelled  running upstairs. As I was in the shower, I heard the floor creak in my room. I turned the water off, stepped out, and grabbed my towel. "Julian?" I said while preparing to tie my towel.  I walked out my bathroom into my room, and saw him standing there with a picture in his hand. He looked me in my eyes, then down at my body. I felt a cool breeze blowing towards me and I realized I still had my towel open.  "Wow." he said looking back at my eyes.  He walked over to me and grabbed my hands and began to look me in my eyes. "You are the most beautiful thing I've ever seen." he said caressing my hair with his right hand. "That's a funny thing to say knowing I'm standing in front of you completely naked." I replied staring back in his eyes. "I don't really care about you being naked. Even though it is pretty nice." he said while laughing. "I just never knew a woman could be so perfect." he said lightly sliding his fingers down my side onto my butt. "Ugh I want you so bad Leah." he said grabbing my butt with one hand and my left breast with the other. "But I'm not gonna pressure you. Whenever you want me, you can have me. All you have to do is say the word." he said right before lightly kissing my lips. All I could do was stare at him. "Now, go ahead and get dressed, and I'll see you downstairs." he said just before he gave me a kiss on my forehead, and left out the room. I exhaled hard trying to catch my breath, because once again, he had taken it away. I was holding it for so long, I felt like I was gonna die. But I got myself together, and began to get dressed. I put on my tight tan dress that came right above my knee, with my tan shoes, then I let my long, curly, black hair down, and went downstairs.  "You look beautiful Leah." "Thank you." I said with a smile. "Well let's go." he said reaching for my hand. As we left, I set the house security system, but it was still acting funny. But I was able to set it after three tries. I turned back around and noticed Julian was staring at the alarm with a serious look on his face, but then he smiled at me when he noticed I was looking at him. It was kinda weird, but I didn't think much of it. When we got to his car, he opened and closed my door, then went and got in on his side. Shawn never did that... About a hour and a half later we were leaving Sarah's Million Dollar Breakfast. "That was really good Julian, thank you." I said when we were back in his car.  "I know right. And no problem." "Oh wow it's already 9:38. I better get to work." "Oh... I forgot. I had already planned what we were gonna do next." he said looking disappointed. I thought about it, then replied. "Well what did you have in mind?"  "Oh nothing, there's just this arbor off of South Central. This time of year, lots of ducks and geese come and fill the water all over. And usually people rent boats, and feed them. But I understand you have to go to work." he said as he started the car. He looked pretty disappointed, and I kinda felt bad. But I started thinking, and I've only missed 5 days since I started my job. So it'll be fine. "Let's do it" I said putting on my seatbelt. "Foreal!?" he said as his face lit up. "Why not? It'll be fun." I said smiling at him. "Okay!" he said with a big smile. We drove off, and I began to look out the window. They won't miss me at my job anyway... Hopefully.
