I don"t know how far we"ve come by the time the sun rises. We can"t be seen on the river so we pull the small boat up the riverbank near a thick patch of trees. Allison tells us we can only spare an hour or so to rest. It"s not nearly enough. My stomach gurgles and growls. I don"t know how we"re going to find something to eat out here. We have nothing to hunt with and even if we did, we can"t risk the fire to cook it on and the smoke that would come with it. We leave the boat hidden after about an hour and get moving.
