Chapter 13At first glance, there didn't seem to be anything particularly noteworthy about the rusty old sedan parked in front of the Methodist church. Other old, run down vehicles also crowded the parking lot, ready to pick up kids at the end of a long workday. But the car and its driver did receive a couple of quizzical stares. For one, the small group who utilized the daycare knew each other for the most part. A stranger in their midst did warrant attention. And what a stranger. Blake glanced in the rearview mirror, running his hand over the sandy colored stubble on his chin. Maybe I should have shaved after all.
