Chapter 7: Anniversary Disaster

"It's gonna be our anniversary soon babe." Riley mumbled, running her fingers into Julianna's hair, "I was thinking if you would want to spend the day together, just the both of us."

"Okay." Julianna replied, her head laying on Riley's chest, listening to her heartbeat.

"You don't seem excited to spend time with me." Riley joked, interlacing their hands together.

"I am. Of course I want to spend time with you, it's just that what if we get caught?" Julianna muttered, "I don't want I lose you."

"We just have to be more careful. And I'm sure you won't want to miss out on DisneyLand." The green eyed chuckled, "I'll get us tickets to DisneyLand alright? Don't worry too much."

"DisneyLand!" Julianna squealed and opened the car door before Riley could properly park her car in the lot.

Once Riley shut down the engine, Julianna jumped off the car and started running towards the entrance of DisneyLand, attracting the attention of a few people.

"Jules, wait up!" Riley shouted and quickly closed and locked the car before running after Julianna, "Calm down babe, I don't want you falling down or knocking into anything."

"I won't!" Julianna said sticking her tongue out playfully at me and bumped into something, "Oh god, I'm so sorry!" She apologized and when she realized that she bumped into a wall, she turned red instantly.

"Look who's talking." Riley laughed, grabbing Julianna's hand.

"Shut up Flores, I wanna get on the rides!"

"I'm so tired." Julianna whined, swishing her arms as they walked back to the car.

"Well, did you at least enjoy the day?" The older girl asked, pulling the younger one into her side. 

"It was the best day ever, I love you so much, thank you for bringing me here."

"Anything for you." Riley smiled and leant in, connecting their lips.

"Oh, it's Julianna and Riley! They're real!" A girl screeched, "I told you so!"

Soon, clicks of camera and flashlights could be heard and seen, making the two girls scramble back into the car, "What do we do now Rye? Colin's gonna break us up!" Julianna sobbed, letting the tears flow freely.

Riley stopped the car and reclined her seat to lie down, "Come over here Jules."

Julianna sniffled and climbed over the console to Riley, laying down on top of her, tears still streaming down her face.

"If you ever wonder,

if you're always in my head.

I assure you it's true.

You don't have to worry.

Even when you're gone,

I still spend every day with you." Riley sang softly into Julianna's ear, using the pad of her thumb to wipe off her tears.

"You're amazing,

and you have me.

Doesn't matter whatever comes to be.

Even if we somehow lose our way,

we'll be okay." She hummed and Julianna's breathing seems to calm down, taking deep breathes slowly. Riley took Julianna's hand in hers and gently rubs it with her thumb, hoping that it would help Julianna loosen up.

"It's like we're always moving

Why is it so hard to find some time to catch our breath?

Someday, we will slow down,

long enough to watch the sunrise from our own bed." Julianna's body relaxed into Riley's, their bodies perfectly molding into each other's, just like they were made for each other. Like they were meant to be.

"You're all that I want.

You're all I need.

We'll be okay." Riley ends the song and slight snores can be heard from Julianna.

'She must be tired from the rides and crying.' Riley chuckled at the thought and placed a kiss on Julianna's forehead before feeling her phone buzz two times.

Message from: Colin

Message from: Management

"Shit." Riley mumbled under her breath.

She opened the two messages and there were pictures of Julianna and her kissing. And of course angry messages from the management and Colin.

Riley groaned when an incoming call from Colin popped onto the screen. She reluctantly picked up the call and closed her eyes, "Hi Colin." She greeted as softly as she can so that she won't wake Julianna up.

"Will you explain the pictures to me?" Colin said abruptly.

This is not going to be good.

"Will you explain what the f**k is this?" Colin bellowed the moment Riley stepped foot into the mansion carrying Julianna bridal style.

The younger one stirred and snuggled closer into Riley, a small smile tugging at her lips.

"Speak softer, I don't want Jules to wake up." Riley hissed, trying her best not to wake Julianna up as she carried her into the room and laid her down on the bed.

"It's either the band or Julianna. You choose." Colin compelled, "It's one way or the other."

"I can't leave Julianna. She's the love of my life. You don't understand!" Riley screamed, tears screaming down her face.

"I gave the both of you a chance." Colin said, "And look at what just happened."

"I want the both of you to stop whatever you have with each other." Colin admonished, "And that's that. If I catch the both of you talking more than necessary, you're in deep trouble." With that, he stood up from the couch and left the mansion.

"This is bullshit!" She shouted after him.

"Riley?" Julianna said, her voice hoarse after a long night's sleep, "Rye?"

"Morning Dawg." Tahani greeted, "How are you feeling?"

"I'm okay. Where's Riley?" Julianna asked, knitting her eyebrows together.

"I'm so sorry Ju." Tahani sympathized with a sad smile.

"What are you talking about?!" Julianna shouted, shivering from the fear of losing Riley.

"He doesn't want the both of you dating anymore." Tahani explained, "And Riley swapped rooms with me. She said the both of you are over."

"W..what?" Julianna stuttered, unable to process what Tahani had said.

"I'm so so sorry Ju. Colin saw the pictures of the both of you." Tahani said, rubbing Julianna's arm.

"I'm not done with her yet." Julianna mumbled under her breath and headed towards Riley's room.

"Open up! I know you're inside." Julianna shouted and banged her fist against the door.

"Go away. We're done." Riley replied.

"No we're not. We can do this together." Julianna pleaded, "Please Riley."

"I don't love you anymore. Just go away and leave me alone."

I don't love you anymore.

Those words hurt more than any other mean things that has been said to her combined together. It felt like Riley had stabbed her heart repeatedly or worst still, took it out and stepped on it.

Julianna's POV

I can't believe I just lost her. The love of my life, my protector, my best friend. I thought that she would fight through this with me, but I guess not.

I walk out of the mansion, the cold air hitting my face. Tears were still running down my face and I don't bother to wipe them away. Riley used to do that for me, but I know she'll never wipe my tears off again.

"Wake up." Tahani said shaking me.

"What?" I groaned and flipped over facing the wall.

"We have an interview to go to. We have to get ready in fifteen." Tahani says and pulls me up from my slumber.

I dragged my feet across the room and picked out a dress and high heels before getting my make up on. I looked into the mirror and notice the eye bags under my eyes. I haven't been able to sleep since the day Riley broke up with me. It also had been two weeks since we talked, isn't it amazing how we became strangers after all we've been through together?

I walked into the kitchen and saw Riley standing there by the window staring into space. She looked up at me when I opened the fridge and stared at me like I had two heads, making me feel uncomfortable.

"What?" I asked a bit too harshly, a causing her to flinch slightly.

Hurt flashed across her eyes for a few seconds and disappeared as fast as it came. Turning her head away, she walked away like a living zombie and left me there alone. What gives her the right to act like she's the only one who got hurt? She was the one who gave up on me, gave up on us.

The whole car ride was filled with chatters from Charlie, Tahani and Skylar with a few inputs from me occasionally, Riley stayed silent throughout the car ride.

We took our seats on stage and the interview went smoothly, except for an answer from Riley which stayed etched to my mind.

"So, is Rilianna real?" The interviewer asked.

"Nope. And never will be." Riley answered.

Tears threatened to spill when I heard Riley's reply but I kept it in, determined not to show my weakness.

"Riley!" I heard Tahani scream abruptly and I ran out of the toilet cubicle to see an unconscious Riley in her arms.

"What the hell happened?" I questioned and took out my phone to call for an ambulance.
