After lunch, they realized that the contact information on witnesses and victims was most likely out of date. That meant a trip back to the station to get more current information using the department and city databases. Doyle steeled himself for another round of callous insults as they entered the old building. This district hadn’t been given new quarters yet and the building was shabby. The brickwork was overdue for repointing, the building’s facade literally sagged, and neither the plumbing nor the electric work was reliable.
