“You found something?”Emma asked excitedly. She wasn’t too keen on focusing on the numbers in front of her anyway, especially not when there was such good news.
“Yeah, I found a good PI,” Lily said, sitting on the chair opposite Emma.
Emma looked at Lily speechlessly. Was that why she had bound into the office like a possessed woman? She had expected that she’d at least have reasonable information.
“Are you…not happy about it?”Lily asked unsure, her voice soft. Emma pinched the space between her brows.
