Emma felt oddly guilty, which was strange considering the fact that she had done nothing wrong. She and Ross were now standing on the east balcony, the one that overlooked the sea, and he was quiet almost to the point of being broody. A glass of wine that he had poured while the ambulance came to take Matthew away was being casually swirled in his hands while he stared off into the space.
