018: Big Black Wolf ✨✨✨

The night was cold, Loud rain and thunderstorm sounded around the kingdom, The girls snuggled closer to each other forming a Pentagon. It was like an object of strength that gave them warmth along the way. Marceline tried hard to fall asleep, Her nightmares had been consistent over the past few days and the need to sleep had decreased along the way as well. Odette had noticed it after a few days and just like she would have done to her sister she snuggled closer to Marceline and tapped at her back, Marceline did not voice it out but the soft breath release from her proved that she was very much thankful for her act.

With Odette’s help it was not long before Marceline fell sound asleep. She found herself in the familiar forest path, a constant in all her dreams, she heard growls, loud threatening growls that shook her on her feet, She backed away and looked around, she knew any moment from now the monster would arrive so she tried to brace herself for it, but that was impossible as well, as a huge black wolf descended on her from the back and pinned her to the ground, ‘’Marceline’’, The black wolf said with a familiar voice, One that she had heard before.

Marceline looked up to meet the blue eyes of the wolf, she took in his features, The wolf had burns and scars that marked his fur, His face was partially deformed with dried blood on it, scars of all kinds had formed and graced his face and the look of helplessness did not escape Marceline. Marceline raised her hand to touch it’s face but the animal pulled away and growled loudly, He growled once more at her before it’s mouth opened wide to reveal his long fangs, Marceline’s eyes widened at the incoming reality, She opened her mouth to scream before jolting up awake.

‘’Marceline!!!!’’, The girls screamed all at once as they gathered around her, Marceline’s breath was uneven, her eyes darted around the familiar cell while her hiccups started as well.

‘’Marceline what is it, a Nightmare?[‘’, Odette asked and she nodded barely able to form words. Odette sighed and brought her in for a hug, Giselle rubbed her back a bit before shifting to her corner again, Delphine and Giselle moved back as well leaving the both of them to be.

‘’You want to talk about it?’’, Odette asked once time had passed and Marceline’s breath was even. Marceline pulled away from the hug, ‘’Yeah, i think you guys should know’’. Marceline said in a serious tone that garnered the attention of everyone, ‘’Must be serious’’, Delphine interjected also moving a bit closer.

‘’The first night when i was taken from my parents, i Dreamt of a big black wolf.’’, Marceline paused and looked at their faces, Odette eyes became fuller, Giselle held a smirk on her lips, but Delphine and Giselle held a serious look as they furrowed their eyebrows at her.

‘’You guys are making me scared’’, She said without hesitation, but Giselle forced out a smile that did nothing to clear her doubts, ‘’Just go on marceline, its no big deal’’, Marceline did not believe it but she carried on regardless.

‘’The dreams get’s weirder each day, This wolf sometimes changes, it attacks but doesn’t hurt me, I do not know what to do, i am terrified to close my eyes’’. Delphine glanced at the eye bags forming under Marceline’s eyes and she sighed. ‘’What do you guys think?’’. Marceline asked desperately.

‘’You were marked by a werewolf, One has claimed you, but who?’’, Giselle looked back at her, But Marceline looked away for some reason, She could not meet her eyes, Delphine and Odette noticed her behaviour and they shared a knowing look, ‘’I think we should give her space to process her thoughts, While we figure out how we would be released’’, Renee said changing the topic. Marceline was thankful but that did not stop her train of thoughts.

All through the day, Marceline thought about the Wolf, and the man whose voice had stayed in her mind, Where they one and same?, She dared to ask herself.

That day they were released and sent out of Agred, They were given no opportunity to say goodbye to the Alpha, but rather they were tossed back into their moving cage like dogs with a leash on them. For some reason Marceline felt sad, she somehow wished she was given the chance to bid the Alpha and Luna a farewell, Marceline knew that the Alpha and his queen knew something, something no one else knew and she wished she had the time to ask them.

As Marceline entered the cart last, she saw from her side eye two people looking at her from the huge windows on the castle, Not knowing who they were did not stop her from throwing a smile at them, though with her lazy eyes she felt more scary than happy. The couple smiled back at her, and their smile faded to a frown as the cart pulled out from the castle grounds, They turned away from the windows and headed back to the meeting room .

‘’She looked confused, what a pity, The life she would have to endure’’. Brulina said as she brought the wine glass to her lips, Alpha Gonzalo smirked, ‘’Only the strong are given fates like hers, The moon goddess gives each a fate worthy of them’’. Alpha Gonzalo said without hesitation.

‘’Those girls would either make her the strong woman she is destined to be, or they would break her into the worst’’. Brulina said casually.

‘’Right again, My queen, To see things play out we have to go to Belrig as well, our journey begins today’’. Gonzalo got up and helped his wife up, ‘’Adam!!!’’, He summoned for a guard who came running into the room immediately, ‘’Rojer sir’’, Adam said in between his pants.

‘’Get the carriage ready’’. He said .

His wife however stopped him, “We should wait, for I see that we will soon be called to the palace to bear witness”.
