Alli didn’t even notice the tears that started to fall from her eyes. She felt betrayed that Eil would lie to her. Alli ducked back behind the hedges as her eyes searched for an escape route. She looked at the trail leading into the woods. Without a second thought she ran. She knew they would catch her and drag her back but she didn’t care. She ran as fast as she could push herself.
