Before long, they were pulling off of the highway, making their way through a one-road town. The old buildings lined the street, the yellow street lamps illuminated the storefronts as they slowly passed. It looked much like any tiny town you would drive through on an old country road. It wasn’t much, but Eli felt pride in the fact that his family had maintained it for generations. And although it was run down, he liked to think of it as ‘lived in’. There were people all over the sidewalks, gathered on corners, laughing in groups. This was home to him and his pack members. The town also attracted humans in the area, as well as the occasional random supernaturals that may be in the area. It was known by all to be a peaceful, welcoming place that seldom experienced any issues with crime.
