I quietly walked over to the floor-to-ceiling window in my living room. Uncle Aaron gave me this penthouse as a graduation gift. I swirled the wine inside my glass. I took a small sip, letting out a soft sigh. After everything I witnessed tonight, I was spent. I have already taken a shower. I scrubbed the blood off my skin, the smell of the warehouse. But the memories remained. I couldn't get it out of my mind. It didn't help that I was alone. Maybe some company would have helped.
