Alexander leaned back in his chair, a mischievous glint in his eye. "You know, Harper," he began, his voice taking on a lighter tone, "I've been thinking about you a lot lately."
Harper blushed, feeling a warm flush spread across her cheeks. "Really?" she asked, trying to keep her voice steady.
Alexander nodded, a small smile playing at the corners of his lips. "Yes, really. I must say, you look absolutely stunning tonight. That dress is a perfect choice."
Harper smiled, glancing down at the elegant, flowy dress she was wearing. "Thank you," she said, feeling a little more relaxed.
Alexander stood up from his chair, moving it so that it was right beside Harper's. He sat back down, his leg brushing against hers. "I just can't help myself," he said, his eyes never leaving hers. "You're just so beautiful."
Harper felt her heart skip a beat at Alexander's words. She couldn't help but feel a little giddy at the flattery, and the warmth of his leg against hers was sending shivers down her spine.
"Thank you," she said again, her voice a little breathless.
Alexander reached out, his hand gently stroking her cheek. "I mean every word," he said, his voice low and intense.
Harper had been feeling a little uncertain about her relationship with Alexander throughout the night, but now she was feeling bold. She was tired of being passive, so she took the initiative to lean in and kiss Alexander. Alexander was caught off guard for a moment, but then he laughed softly, pulling her into his lap and deepening the kiss.
Harper ran her fingers through Alexander's hair, pulling him closer as their tongues tangled together. The heat between them was almost palpable and Harper could feel her own body responding to Alexander's touch.
Alexander finally broke the kiss, but only to trail kisses down the side of Harper's neck. Harper moaned softly as Alexander's hands ran down her back, cupping her butt and pulling her even closer.
Eventually, Alexander pulled away from the kiss. Harper looked at him, her lips swollen and red from their passionate embrace. Alexander smiled at her and leaned back in his chair, admiring his handiwork.
"You have such beautiful lips, Harper," Alexander said, his voice a husky whisper.
Harper felt a blush rise to her cheeks at his compliment. She had never been with someone so confident and sure of themselves.
"Thank you," she said, shyly looking down at her lap.
Alexander reached over and tilted her chin up so she was looking at him. "I don't want you to be shy or reserved with me, Harper. I want you to feel comfortable and confident around me," he said, his eyes full of warmth and understanding.
Harper looked at him, taking in his words. She did feel comfortable around Alexander, but at the same time, she felt like she was still getting to know him.
Alexander wrapped his arms around Harper and pulled her closer. He brushed his lips gently against the soft skin of her neck, eliciting a quiet sigh from her. Harper leaned into his embrace, feeling the warmth of his body against hers. Alexander began to plant soft, sweet kisses along her neck, moving slowly down towards her collarbone. The sensation was electric and Harper shuddered in his arms as he continued to kiss her neck, leaving a trail of heat in his wake. Just before he reached the strap of her dress, Alexander paused to leave a hickey, marking her as his own. Harper let out a quiet giggle, feeling lightheaded from the intensity of the moment.
As he pulls away, Alexander's eyes are full of amusement and he grins down at Harper. "Well, well, look at you being so eager," he says playfully.
Harper blushes at his teasing, but she can't help the smile that spreads across her face. She leans into him, her hand slipping around the back of his neck as she pulls him in for another kiss.
Alexander's hands roam over her back, tracing the curve of her spine as he deepens the kiss. The room around them fades away as they become lost in each other, caught up in the heat of the moment.
For a moment, there is nothing but the two of them, lost in each other's embrace, until Alexander finally breaks the kiss, his chest rising and falling with deep breaths.
"You keep surprising me, Harper," he says, his eyes shining with affection. "I can't wait to see what you have in store for me next."
Alexander chuckled as he pulled away from Harper, admiring her pink cheeks and swollen lips.
"You're just too irresistible, love," he said, playfully tugging at the strap of her dress. "It's a pity we're not in a more private area, this dress is just getting in the way." He gave her a mischievous grin, his eyes sparkling with promise.
Harper asked with a hint of a smile, "Is it my dress or your suit that's in the way?"
Alexander chuckled and replied, "Both, my love. I'm afraid we'll have to continue this later."
Harper leaned in close to Alexander, her breath warm against his skin.
"You know, Alexander," she said, her voice a playful tease, "you make all these promises, but I'm not sure if you can keep them."
Alexander raised an eyebrow, intrigued by her boldness. "Really? And what promises might those be?" he asked, a hint of amusement in his tone.
Harper ran her fingers along his jawline, nipping at his lips. "Well, you promised to be a gentleman, but I'm not sure if you're living up to that title."
Alexander chuckled, his hands moving to her waist to pull her even closer. "And what makes you say that, my love?" he asked, his eyes dancing with amusement.
Harper gave him a mischievous grin, her body pressed against his. "Oh, I don't know," she said, her voice low and suggestive. "Maybe it's the way you're making promises you can't keep."
Alexander leaned in, his lips just inches from hers. "I assure you, Harper, I will keep any promise I make to you." And with that, he captured her lips in a deep, passionate kiss.
Alexander gently held Harper in place on his lap as the knock on the door interrupted their intimate moment. He could tell that Harper was flustered and a little embarrassed by the intrusion, but he kept her close to him.
"Enter," Alexander said with a hint of irritation in his voice.
The door opened and a waiter enterd, carrying a tray of dessert. Harper tried to bury her face in Alexander's shoulder, but he just held her tighter, admiring the flush of embarrassment on her cheeks.
"Please, set it up on the table," Alexander said. Harper continued to hide her face, but Alexander could tell that she was starting to relax a little. He couldn't help but smirk, knowing that he had that effect on her.
The waiter finished setting the table and left the room, closing the door behind him. Alexander turned back to Harper, who finally looked up at him, a hint of a smile playing on her lips.
"You know, you look quite lovely when you're embarrassed," Alexander said with a grin, tracing the curve of her cheek with his thumb. Harper just rolled her eyes, but Alexander could tell that she wasn't really mad at him.
The dessert was a beautiful work of art, with swirls of creamy caramel sauce drizzled over a generous scoop of rich, velvety vanilla ice cream. The ice cream was adorned with tiny flecks of gold leaf, adding a touch of sophistication to the already luxurious treat. The dessert was served in delicate crystal glasses, reflecting the warm candlelight in the private room and casting a warm golden glow on the table. The scent of the creamy, sweet ice cream wafted towards Harper and Alexander, tempting their taste buds with its irresistible aroma. Harper couldn't help but smile as she picked up her spoon, eager to savor the delectable dessert. Alexander chuckled softly as he watched Harper's reaction to the dessert, the amusement evident in his eyes.
Alexander kept kissing Harper as she ate, stealing bits of the dessert from her mouth.
"Alexander," Harper giggled, trying to push him away playfully. "Stop, I need to eat this dessert."
"I like this dessert better," Alexander whispered, stealing another kiss from her.
"You're incorrigible," Harper said, shaking her head but smiling all the same.
"And you love it," Alexander replied with a smirk, kissing the corner of her mouth.
............................................................................
The waiter had cleared the table and left the room, leaving Alexander and Harper alone once again. Alexander was in the process of slipping on his coat, while Harper was standing, admiring the view from the private room's large windows.
Alexander approached her from behind, slipping her wrap around her shoulders and pulling her in close. He slipped his arms around her waist and leaned in to kiss her neck.
"Are you ready to go?" Alexander murmured against her skin, his warm breath sending shivers down Harper's spine.
Harper leaned back into him, closing her eyes as she savored the feel of his arms around her. "I don't want this night to end," she whispered.
Alexander chuckled, "Me either. But we can continue where we left off later."
He turned her around to face him, tilting her chin up so that she was looking into his eyes.
"You're mine, Harper," he said, his voice low and possessive.
Harper smiled, feeling a warmth spread through her chest at his words. "I know," she said, before rising up on her toes to kiss him.
The two of them left the private room, their laughter and conversation echoing down the hall as they made their way out of the restaurant and into the night.
