Bella’s eyes widened when she saw Jake standing there, and she smiled brightly at him and waved. In three quick strides, he’d crossed the entire dance floor and stood directly in front of her. Without a word, he slid in between her and Nate, effectively pushing the other man out of the way. “Hey…” Nate began, but Jake’s piercing blue cold stare silenced him immediately. “She’s with me,” Jake growled, never taking his eyes from her. Nate shrugged his shoulders at Bella, giving in, and she nodded at him. “Thanks again for the drinks,” she said, before moving closer to Jake, pressing her entire body up against his. “That’s right,” she shouted to him over the music, “I’m with you.” Jake pulled her hips up against him, grinding hard, and leaned over to possess her mouth with his.
