~OCTOBER
"Ummm... did you just come out of a mirror?" I stammered, my mind reeling from the shock of what I had seen.
The man smiled, a knowing look in his eyes. "That is correct, Lady October," he replied. "My ability is to travel from mirrors and reflections"
"Oh a witch?"
"Oh, no," he said, his smile widening. "I am not a witch. I am a vampire." He paused, and I could see that he was trying to make me feel at ease. "I apologize if I startled you. I do not mean any harm."
I felt my body relax, I like Jeffery
"That is incredible," I said, my voice filled with wonder.
"I am at your service, my lady," he replied, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Please, feel free to ask me anything you wish."
I thought for a moment, trying to process everything that had happened. I finally stared at the stairs
"Do you mean Lord Hades?" he asked, his voice soft and reassuring. "Do not be afraid. You will get used to him in time I will show you to your chambers," he said, gesturing to the winding staircase that led up to the next floor. We walked slowly, and I took the opportunity to look around me. The castle was a magnificent structure, with high ceilings and intricate carvings on the walls. It was like something out of a fairy tale.
I began to wonder what the King's Castle of Anghardia would look like. This castle was the home of his son, who was not beloved by the people. But the King's Castle must be even more magnificent, a true symbol of the King's power and wealth. I imagined it to be a place of beauty and grandeur, a place that would take my breath away.
"Does this place usually feel so silent?" I asked Jeffery, glancing around at the stillness.
"Yes, the young master prefers solitude and peace," Jeffery replied. "He does not enjoy the company of others, and he likes to keep his castle quiet and still. But you need not worry, young lady, for you are a welcome guest here."
"Thank you Jeffery"
"You're very welcome, young lady," Jeffery replied, returning my smile. "I am here to help you in any way I can. If you have any questions, please ask them and I will do my best to answer them."
I was worried to ask him about his master
"Can you tell me more about your master?"I asked
"Am afraid that's all I know"he stopped on his track and smiled at me before walking up the stairs
I wonder if he is lying
Jeffery and I reached the top of the stairs, and the view before us took my breath away. The inner castle was even more magnificent than the entrance hall. The walls were lined with rich tapestries and the floors were covered in plush carpets. The ceilings were vaulted and adorned with beautiful paintings. The rooms were filled with expensive furniture, and every detail was perfect. I felt as if I had stepped into a fairytale.
Finally, we reached a door at the end of the hallway. Jeffery opened the door and ushered me inside.
The room was even more luxurious than the others we had seen. It was decorated with the finest fabrics and the most exquisite furniture. A huge bed, with a canopy of rich velvet, stood in the center of the room. The air was filled with the scent of fresh flowers. There were bouquets of roses, lilies, and tulips placed throughout the room. The bed was covered with a quilt embroidered with delicate flowers. It was like stepping into a garden, a place of peace and beauty.
"Wow it's so lovely it's like you know I love flowers"I walked in adoring the beauty
"I'm glad you like it," Jeffery said, his voice warm and kind. "The flowers is especially for you." He smiled, and I felt a sense of gratitude for his thoughtfulness.
"Thank you," I said, still in awe of the room." Did he did this? Or Hades?
"It was my pleasure," Jeffery replied. "If you feel uncomfortable or need some servant at you service please am everywhere around here."He bowed slightly and exit the room
I like his gestures
I strolled around the room, admiring the intricate tapestries that covered the walls. The flowers depicted in the tapestries were so lifelike, I almost felt like I could smell their fragrance. The windows were framed with delicate lace curtains, and the moonlight streamed in, making the room feel bright and airy.
The bed was the centerpiece of the room, with its quilt embroidered with a beautiful garden scene. As I looked at it, I felt a sense of calm and peace wash over me. This room was a haven, a place where I could escape from the world and simply be myself. It was nothing like my room back home.
I looked in the mirror and saw my reflection, surrounded by flowers. The mirror was framed with a delicate carving of roses, their petals so finely detailed that they looked real. As I gazed at myself, I felt like I was surrounded by a garden of beauty. I couldn't help but feel grateful for this place, and for the person who had made it for me.
"It's like a fairytale," I said, still in awe of my surroundings. "I love it!" I whispered to myself but no one
As I unpinned my hair, letting it fall around my shoulders, I noticed that the reflection in the mirror was not mine only.
