The curvy, petite woman sighed and tested toward the front door and knocked with a rhythm to calm herself.
It swung open and the shifter smiled. "Hi. I'm Tempest."
:3
Tempest stood there with her hand out to shake hands with the blonde vampire, who now stood there with her mouth wide open. The tiger shifter could see the sparkles in the newborn's eyes.
"I'm Caroline," She said in a rush, and practically pulled the woman into the boarding house. "And with you here I can't tell you how much safer I feel."
"Honey, you don't even know me," Tempest spoke slowly with an eyebrow raised, stumbling along in the vamp's grip. Yes, she could’ve torn off the girl's arm, to begin with, but the golden-eyed woman was still shocked with the blonde's proverbial 'balls.'
"I don't care. But I do know that you could kick your brother's ass should they do something stupid again.." The girl jumped up and down with so much energy and the shifter had absolutely no idea where the hell it came from.
"Again?" Annoyance tickled the back of Tempest's neck. But she smirked, now amused, "Which one?"
Caroline..? laughed and came to a stop in the main room. The shifter had less than three seconds to flutter her gaze over the obvious teenagers in the room before she swept up into a tight hug by her big brother.
"Damon." Temper smiled, burying her face into the blue-eyed vamp's shoulder. He smelled of bourbon and leather, but most importantly, home. The shifter pulled back and grinned up at him. "How long has it been since I've seen you?"
But the black-haired vamp shrugged, a soft, fond smile in replacing his usual smirk. "I dunno, Temper." He pulled her into another hug, pressing his cheek to her hair. "But too long."
The clearing of a throat interrupted the two and that was when Temper caught sight of the doppelgänger. The shifter knew she was human, but she did want to scare her.
Before anyone could blink, Tempest had the girl up against the wall by her throat a few inches from the floor. Her hybrid face shocked them all bar her brothers. The whites of her eyes turned coal black and her pupils bled silver instead of her usual gold. Veins spread down her cheeks. Her canines, both top and bottom, elongated, her mouth stretched wide open and a faint, but threatening growl rumbling from her chest.
Truly a creature to fear.
Around the two, everyone had tensed except again, the Salvatore brothers.
"I just want you to know, Elena, I am not here to protect you. I could care less for a copy of a ruthless b***h that I hate very much. And I know, deep inside my soul, you are the exact same as her. At least, Katerina was honest." Tempest tilted her head to the side, "Well after she ripped the lives of my family apart, she was."
Despite himself, Damon did snort. "Alright Temper, let her down. She gets it."
The shifter closed her eyes and breathed out a deep sighed before opening them again, her face now back to normal. Tempest dropped the girl, who collapsed to the floor coughing and struggling to breathe.
The blonde vampire turned to look at the redhead, awestruck. "That was so badass."
"Caroline!" A coloured girl, sitting on the couch next to the werewolf hybrid, chastised, her mouth open in shock. "She's our friend!"
The vamp shrugged. "Still badass."
Tempest smirked at her, then turned to look at her blond haired brother. "Stefan."
He stared blankly at her. The youngest Salvatore stood up slowly like he couldn't give two shits. Damon leant on the doorframe watching the two. And of course, the others watched as well. Not a word was said.
Until the shifter stepped forward and slammed her fist into his jaw, throwing his head the side. Stefan stayed like that for a few seconds before he stood straight up again. The boy then spat a mouthful of blood out onto the floor.
"I'm not cleaning that." Damon's voice was filled with silent laughter as he folded his arms. Tyler smirked up at the oldest Salvatore, also amused.
The brother and sister looked at each other in the eye. And again, Tempest decked him, this time causing him to fall heavily on the floor.
"Alright alright," Stefan grumbled, getting up to face his sister once more.
"You're an i***t, you know that? I heard from Rebekah a while ago that Nik gave you back your memories from Chicago. But I get nothing from you? Did you not remember what the f**k I did to help you? Or did you just choose to forget that?”
Tempest narrowed her eyes and growled, “Doesn't matter either way though, does it?" One more time, the shifter pulled back her arm and punched her brother in the face.
Tempest stepped over the groaning body that was Stefan and kissed her older brother on the cheek. "I'll show myself to my room, Dae. Good to see you again."
