“Wow. You’re Screwed.”

741 Words
Driving down the highway, Tempest tapped her thumb against the steering wheel to the beat of the music playing from the radio. The redhead continued to mull over the conversation she'd had with her blue-eyed brother, not knowing how to think of it. :3 "Yeah." ‘You do?!’ Damon exclaimed with disbelief. "Bro, everyone in supernatural world have heard of the Original family. Hell, my mama's brother used to tell me all about them as bedtime stories." ‘I've never heard of them since a few months ago.’ Tempest smirked, "Well Damon, what does that tell you?" She asked with her raspy voice filled with amusement. He mumbled something under his breath, that the shifter didn't hear. "~What was that?~" She sang lightly, teasing him through the phone. The vamp sighed dramatically, ‘That I don't know enough people.’ There was an eruption of laughter on the other side of the phone, and it definitely wasn't Damon. "Who was that?" ‘Vampire Barbie and Witchy.’ He grumbled. ‘I can't wait to meet you!’ A voice called out. "Of course you can't, I'm a Salvatore." Tempest said, her husky tone filled with amusement. ‘Well she's definitely your sister, Damon.’ Another voice said. The brother and sister laughed together. :3 The redhead sighed when she passed the 'Welcome to Mystic Falls.' sign. There was a reason why she had left Damon after Katerina had changed them all. Tempest had trained herself to not attack her family. See, Tiger Shifters weren't just vampire hunters. Sometimes, they'd feel threatened by humans and would attack them as well. It was one of the reasons she had to ask her father to lock her away once a month. Tempest knew that she would not have been able to control herself around Stefan and Damon now that they were vampires. She became half vampire, a hybrid, and from her own research, it was only possible because when Katerina was human she was a doppelgänger. After that night, the shifter had found herself unable to control herself. Instead of being a Tiger once a month, she would shift when her anger became too much, or when she was cornered. Her strength, her eyesight, her speed, her hearing had all multiplied immensely. Her brothers wouldn't have stood a chance. :3 "So which Mikaelson, sweetheart?" Tempest asked. ‘All of them.’ The shifter gave a low whistle. "Wow. You're screwed." ‘Gee, Temper. Thanks for the confidence boost. Made me feel awesome.’ "You're welcome. I, myself, have only come across one of them. She was awesome." ‘You were friends with Rebekah Mikaelson?’ Damon more so stated than asked. ‘...you know I'm not even surprised.’ The shifter grinned at nothing. "And why is that, big brother?" ‘Cause you're both f*****g crazy!’ Tempest had to pull her phone away from her ear, his voice ringing out through head. He almost gave her a headache. And that's impossible. "God Damon. Calm the f**k down." By now, the red head had been able to throw on a pair of lacy, black panties and a matching bra. A purple, sleeveless shirt, white skinny jeans and a pair of black ankle boots. "Now let me guess... you want me to come back to Mystic Falls to help you 'deal' with them?" An uneasy chuckle answered her. ‘Can you?’ Tempest let out a heavy breath. "I'll come, Damon. But I promise nothing. Is he threatening to kill any of you?" ‘...only if Stefan doesn't give back his coffins.’ "So he did something stupid." ‘...yeah.’ The shifter rolled her eyes. Of course her brother did. Whenever his humanity was off, he was reckless. She remembers Chicago. :3 Tempest pulled to stop outside a boarding house she hadn't seen in decades. She bit her lip, unsure on what would happen, which she hated. Her kind always see a little bit into their future, to see how to protect themselves. But the shifter saw nothing. The red head slowly, cautiously, got out of her car, now aware of how quiet it was. She ran a hand through her hair and squared her shoulders. "Damn it, b***h. Get this over with." The curvy, petite woman sighed and tested toward the front door and knocked with a rhythm to calm herself. It swung open and the shifter smiled. "Hi. I'm Tempest."
