"You know now we're gonna be extra late right?" Teddy said, before popping his lips from the straw of his coke. His hand on the wheel then spun it and he expertly swung the car around, the wheels screeching against the tarmac leaving burn marks.
Tempest giggled as both wobbled in their seats, "Who cares, Ted?"
The metamorphmagus rolled his eyes, shaking his head when the redhead shoved a curly fry in her mouth, "Can I have one of those? I paid for them."
"No."
"But-"
"Dude. You know how I am about my food." She narrowed her eyes. She sighed and rolled her golden orbs, "Next time we get something, I'll pay. Got it?"
Teddy rolled his multicoloured eyes.
"I know. I'm weird." Tempest said through her full mouth.
"Nope, you're insane."
"Yeah, that too."
:3
Teddy stood tall as he led Tempest towards the doors of the Mikaelson Mansion.
"I can't believe I'm actually attending this. I look like a freaking clown." The Tiger huffed, struggling not to run her hands through her red, styled hair. She looked up at her friend who was smirking.
"T, you look beautiful. You're wearing barely any makeup and you're gonna be the jewel of the ball." He then bumped his shoulder against her's, "And of course it's all my handiwork, so I'll take credit for that."
Tempest tsked her teeth and rolled her eyes.
"All the girls are gonna be jealous of you, love. Because you are," Teddy took her hand and placed it on his arm as he grinned, "On my arm."
This time the Tiger snorted and the doors opened for them. The duo walked in like royalty as the crowd parted for them, attracting the attention from everyone. Including the Mikaelsons on that stairs.
Almost immediately, Caroline was by her side.
"Wanna make a scene?" The redhead murmured as she downed the champagne.
"What?!" Her head snapped around to look at the grinning Tiger, "Why?"
"Because it's getting boring in here and I wanna stir the pot a bit."
Caroline stared at Tempest wondering what the hell her friend was up to, "Alright... Let's stir the pot..."
"Awesome." The redhead wrapped one arm around the blonde's waist and the other across her shoulder blades. The vampire made a small squeak when the Hybrid suddenly dipped her and pressed their lips together.
To be honest, Caroline had never kissed a girl, besides that kiss on the cheek she gave to Bonnie during a truth or dare game when they were eleven. And compared to all the boys she's kissed...
Tempest definitely knew how to work her mouth. And how to make out. Because that was where this was going.
After what seemed like an eternity, the Tiger pulled back and whispered in the blonde's ear, "Now we're best friends."
The redhead started to walk away from the very dazed Caroline, who's lipstick was smudged and hair slightly out of place. The last thing Tempest left her with was a nice smack on the arse...
The Tiger's eyes flitted up the stairs to where the Mikaelsons stood. Rebekah had a huge grin on her face. So did Kol. Elijah was confused, judging by that dumbfounded look on his face. Finn was blushing slightly at the intense public display of affection.
And Klaus... He was staring hard at his mate, both turned on and jealous of Caroline.
Tempest could feel his burning gaze on the back of her hair, but she simply hummed a simple tune as she practically skipped away.
Elijah cleared his throat, "Tonight's pick is a centuries-old waltz, so if all of you could please find yourselves a partner, please join us in the ballroom."
The Wolf Hybrid shot off to find Tempest, but the purple-haired mortal who smelled funny to him beat him to it.
"May I have this dance, my lady?" He joked with a bow.
If Klaus would have asked her, he would not have made it sound like a joke! He would give her the world, the stars, the moon. She need only ask.
The sweet melody of her giggle snapped him out of his thoughts when she curtsied, "You may, kind sir!"
The music started playing and Tempest had to hold in a groan. She looked up at her witch friend who had raised an eyebrow, "I f*****g hate this song."
"Could be worse. There could be spiders."
"And I hate those eight-legged s**t stains."
Tempest was then twirled out Teddy's embrace and into the arms of a Mikaelson who had an enormously smug grin on his baby face, "Hello darling. What's this about spiders?"
"I f*****g hate spiders."
"So you're scared of them."
"Kol, there's a difference between hating something and fearing something. If I was scared of those spindly little fuckfests id be running like a p***y cat."
"You are a p***y cat," Teddy muttered with a cheeky grin as danced with a still dazed Caroline.
She shot him a quick glare, "Shut up short stack."
"I'm taller than you."
"Do I look like I give a f**k? Cause I don't."
She turned back to the Mikaelson, "I hate spiders. So if I see one im gonna beat the s**t out of it until it's nothing but a gooey mess of blood and guts. Got it?"
Kol smirked and shook his head, ready to laugh when she was spun out of his arms and into another's.
"Damon."
"Hello, baby sister." The Salvatore grinned impishly, "What took you so long?"
Tempest shrugged, "Curly fries."
He nodded, "Curly fries."
Her brother was about to continue when the music came to stop and conversations among the people started anew.
Teddy joined her as Damon went off to find Elena. The purple haired witch then pointed out Klaus following Caroline outside, "He's trying to make ya jealous, love."
"What the hell for?" Tempest's voice was more gravelly than before, feeling anger rise deep within her stomach. But why she angry, the Tiger asked herself. Why?
